Arkansas is 5-2 on the season and is coming off a loss to No. 4 Duke, but both losses were to elite opponents. Star freshman duo Meleek Thomas and Darius Acuff Jr are the Razorbacks’ two best players this season. They both average at least 17 points per game, but Arkansas has a young roster that has struggled against top-tier talent.
Louisville has only three players averaging double-digit points per game, but six players are recording at least nine points. Xavier transfer Ryan Conwell has been their veteran leader and is averaging 20.1 points per game. The Cardinals also have an outstanding freshman in Mikel Brown Jr., who averages 17 points and six assists per game.
Louisville is ranked No. 9 on KenPom, with Arkansas at No. 37. Arkansas has the 48th-highest offensive rating and the 35th-best defensive rating. Louisville averages over eight more points per game than Arkansas and should be able to wear them down, as it has a more experienced roster. Although Lopusville hasn’t had the most challenging schedule yet, they have beaten each opponent by at least eight points this season.
