Thanks to the electric 94-yard punt return from Marcus Jones in the first quarter, the Patriots’ D/ST claims the King of the End Zone crown for Week 13’s edition of Monday Night Football. Prior to the game, it would’ve been a surprising pick. After that excellent execution on special teams though, the unit never looked back and wasn’t ever truly threatened on to way to winning the week. Stay tuned for winnings updates!
Devin Singletary finds the end zone with 22-yard trickery
The Giants are running out of time as the fourth quarter begins, but they’re back on the board again with a 22-yard touchdown thanks to Devin Singletary. The second-string halfback took a direct snap and rolled out to the right before finding a running lane to the goal line. We’ve seen some decent yardage on scores tonight, but as of now, the Patriots’ punt return still stands as the current leader for KOTEZ.
Kyle Williams brings in a deep ball for 33 yards
Another reception of 30+ yards comes at the hands of rookie Kyle Williams, who’s flashed some big-play upside in his first NFL season. The deep ball has become Maye’s calling card, and he delivered this one perfectly to his wideout. At 33 yards, it’s the second-longest touchdown of the contest thus far as halftime approaches.
Giants on the board with 30-yarder to Darius Slayton
New York may have been blanked in the opening quarter, but no longer. Darius Slayton caught a short pass from rookie signal-caller Jaxson Dart and weaved his way through traffic for a 30-yard touchdown reception. Will it stack up to the 94-yard punt return? Nope, but this may turn out a competitive game after all.
Kayshon Boutte hauls in three-yard score
It won’t beat the special-teams play from earlier in the quarter, but the second touchdown of the night comes via Kayshon Boutte on a three-yard pass from Drake Maye. The pair have shown a growing connection this season with the former healthy, and after a quiet game last week, it’s nice to see the wideout making plays again. With New England already up 17-0 with a minute remaining in the game’s opening frame, this contest is already getting out of hand.

Typically, offensive fireworks are what we’re looking for with King of the End Zone picks, but a massive play in the first quarter from an unexpected source may win it before the night even really begins. Midway through the first quarter, Patriots special teamer Marcus Jones returned a punt to the end zone for a massive 94-yard touchdown. How’s that for an explosive play?
