Boutte made his return from a two-game absence due to a hamstring injury last week vs. the Bengals. While he only caught two passes for 15 yards, Boutte didn’t see any limitations in his return and led the Patriots with an 85% route rate.

While Boutte isn’t the greatest target earner — seeing a target on only 13% of his routes this season — most of his targets are deep looks. Boutte has seen 10 targets over 20 yards in just 10 games. Furthermore, the wideout ranks second in yards per target (13.5), eighth in aDOT (17.1), and third in yards per reception (17.8).

Boutte has finished with a reception of at least 20 yards in five of his 10 games this season, now going up against a Giants defense that has allowed 37 receptions for 20+ yards — the 10th most in the NFL. Drake Maye is tied with Josh Allen for the league lead with 45 completions for 20+ yards, and he should find Boutte for at least one deep ball Monday night.
