What happened to Sam Darnold? Live injury updates for Seahawks vs. Vikings NFL Week 13 on 11/30/25

UPDATE: Sam Darnold returned to the game and promptly fumbled the ball away to the Vikings on one of Brian Flores’s vicious blitz packages. The brief trip to the tent seems to be behind him.

Sam Darnold is currently in the blue medical tent for the Seattle Seahawks after leading the team down on a drive that ended in a Jason Myers field goal. It’s been a defensive struggle so far against the Vikings’ defense, and Darnold seems a bit worse for wear as a result.

We are, at this point, unaware of Darnold’s specific injury. But we do know he entered the blue medical tent with his helmet off.

We’ll update more here as soon as we hear more from the ground in Seattle.
