What happened to Justin Herbert? Live injury updates for Chargers vs. Raiders NFL Week 13 on 11/30/25

UPDATE: After the game, Jim Harbaugh said that Herbert will have a procedure done on Monday for a broken left hand. Whether he misses time is uncertain as of now.

UPDATE: Herbert has returned to the game.

UPDATE: Chargers QB Justin Herbert (hand) is questionable to return to Sunday’s game vs. the Raiders.

Early in the first quarter of the divisional game between the Chargers and the Raiders, Justin Herbert was seen heading to the home locker room after leading a scoring drive that ended in a touchdown pass to Quentin Johnston.

There’s little clarity on how Herbert suffered the injury at this point, but obviously going straight to the locker room causes plenty of speculation.

We’ll wait and see who suits up for the Chargers’ next offensive drive for now. We’ll update more here as soon as we hear more from the ground in Los Angeles.
