The Buccaneers looked like legitimate NFC contenders and Baker Mayfield was an MVP candidate at one point. Now, the team is 6-5 and barely holding onto its NFC South lead.
Playoffs are still on the table thanks to a weak division, and this week’s matchup with the Cardinals could keep the Buccaneers from falling to .500.
Tampa Bay is a 4.5-point favorite and -192 on the moneyline, while Arizona is +160 on DraftKings Sportsbook. The game total is set at 45.5 points.

Cardinals vs. Buccaneers Best Prop Bets
Jacoby Brissett under 0.5 interceptions (-112)
Since Kyler Murray went down with an injury, Jacoby Brissett has looked incredible. He’s throwing the ball at a high volume but also efficiently. The Cardinals aren’t winning games, but it’s great news for fantasy owners and over bettors.
Despite the volume, Brissett holds the best interception ratio in the history of the NFL. That’s right, the career journeyman is No. 1 with a 1.3% interception rate. He’s ahead of Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes and other elite quarterbacks.
This doesn’t mean Brissett is immune to interceptions, but he’s in a great matchup in addition to his historic efficiency. Tampa Bay doesn’t have a potent defense, allowing the sixth most passing yards this year. The downside is that the Buccaneers have the sixth most interceptions.
It could be trouble for Brissett, especially given his volume, but I trust the leader in interception rate over the Buccaneers’ secondary.
Baker Mayfield over 232.5 passing yards (-112)
Bucky Irving’s absence forced Mayfield to throw the ball more often. While Irving is set to return, the game script calls for lots of passing.
Because the Cardinals pass the ball a ton, the Buccaneers are likely going to match that to keep up with the scoring. The 45.5 point total indicates a decently high-scoring game, which is expected with a Mayfield vs. Brissett matchup.
Mayfield has hit this over in five of 10 full games this season.
