One of the biggest WWE premium live events of the year, Survivor Series: WarGames, has arrived! This is the 39th annual Survivor Series event in WWE history, and the first to take place in an outdoor baseball ballpark. Saturday’s PLE is taking place at Petco Park in San Diego, California. This is also the fourth consecutive year that a WarGames match has happened at Survivor Series.
10:18 p.m. ET: Reigns sends a message to Rhodes after the match
After the men’s WarGames match ended, Roman Reigns and CM Punk embraced. But then Reigns and Rhodes came face to face, and he stated, “This is the last time we ever team. Just know that.”
10:10 p.m. ET: Team Vision wins the Men’s WarGames match
Nearly 40 minutes into this contest, everyone was hurting. A mystery man entered the cage, kicked and stomped Punk, then exited. Then Breakker pinned Punk.
Breakker and Punk went face-to-face, with both wrestlers getting their own offense in. Despite Punk having more experience, Breakker was the aggressor when these two were alone in the cage.
Drew McIntyre, Punk’s longtime rival, entered the match and hit him with a Claymore. McIntyre and Breakker teamed up to beat down Punk. Cody Rhodes came out and immediately went after McIntyre, with whom he has been in an ongoing feud. Logan Paul came out and began battling it out with Rhodes on top of the cage. Paul and McIntyre work together to take down Punk.
Jimmy Uso is the first member of his family to join this match, but was quickly taken out by McInytee. Bronson Reed hit three Tsunami’s as soon as he entered the cage. At this point, Punk, Rhodes, and Jimmy Uso were all battered and beaten down.
Jey Uso comes out and joins his brother to hit a 1D. Petco Park erupted when Brock Lesnar appeared with Paul Heyman to enter WarGames. Lesnar took out everyone in his path before Roman Reigns came out. Reigns hit Lesnar with multiple superman punches, but the Beast put him through a table. Lesnar brought Reigns into the cage, but at that point, he wasn’t at 100 percent.
Heyman gave Logan Paul brass knuckles, and he took out Rhodes and Jimmy Uso. Reigns returned to his feet and hit Paul with a spear. Reigns then hit McIntyre and Reed with the brass knuckles before spearing Breakker. The OTC took over this match, as he then hit Lesnar with a spear through the table.
This WarGames match was fantastic and lived up to the hype. Each member showcased their skills, each putting on an incredible performance.

As Roman Reigns came down to the ring, Brock Lesnar approached him, but Reigns hit him with two Superman punches. But then Lesnar put Reigns through a table.
9:57 p.m. ET: Brock Lesnar is the final member of Team Vision
The Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar, comes out with his long-time friend and Advocate, Paul Heyman. It’s the first time since 2004 that Brock Lesnar has competed in a non-singles match. It didn’t take long for everyone to go to Suplex City.
9:54 p.m. ET: Jey Uso enters the match
Jey Uso joins his brother Jimmy, CM Punk, and Cody Rhodes in the men’s WarGames match. He provided a much-needed boost for his team.
9:51 p.m. ET: Bronson Reed is the next participant
Bronson Reed enters the cage and hits three Tsunami’s right away. Punk, Rhodes, and Jimmy Uso are down and out.
9:47 p.m. ET: Jimmy Uso enters WarGames
Jimmy Uso joins Rhodes and Punk in this match. He is the sixth wrestler to enter WarGames so far. After Uso got some offense in, McIntyre took him out.
9:43 p.m. ET: Logan Paul has arrived
The Vision once again gained the upper hand as they have three members of their team in the match. Logan Paul joins Bron Breakker and Drew McIntyre in this match.
9:39 p.m. ET: Cody Rhodes is here!
WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes joined Punk to even the matchup in the ring. Cody’s dad, Dusty Rhodes, created the WarGames match.
9:35 p.m. ET: Drew McIntyre enters the match next
CM Punk’s storied rival, Drew McIntyre, joins Breakker in the cage. The Vision now has a two-on-one advantage in this match.
9:28 p.m. ET: CM Punk and Bron Breakker are starting the match
CM Punk’s music was the first to hit in the men’s WarGames match, and the fans in San Diego began singing his song. Punk climbed the cage to enter the match. Bron Breakker from The Vision is starting the match for his team.
9:19 p.m. ET: Survivor Series WarGames attendance announced
The attendance for tonight’s Survivor Series event is 46,016 fans at Petco Park. This is the highest attendance in Survivor Series history.
9:06 p.m. ET: Stephanie Vaquer defeats Nikki Bella
Stephanie Vaquer successfully defended her Women’s World Championship against Nikki Bella.
From the second this match started, Nikki Bella was aggressive against Stephanie Vaquer. Vaquer quickly responded and got her own offense in. Bella was yelling at Vaquer, reminding her that she is a WWE Hall of Famer and one of the best of all time.
Bella has had her ups and downs since returning to action this year, and this was her best outing without a doubt. The difference in this contest was Vaquer’s unique and versatile skillset. She uses submissions, kicks, and various moves to hurt her opponents.

8:45 p.m. ET: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Nikki Bella is up next
Stephanie Vaquer is defending her Women’s World Championship in the next match against her former friend Nikki Bella. Bella is a former two-time Divas Champion but hasn’t challenged for a Women’s World Championship since Evolution 2018. This is Vaquer’s second time defending the WWE Women’s World title.
8:34 p.m. ET: Dominik Mysterio defeats John Cena to win the Intercontinental title
Liv Morgan made her long-awaited return and confronted Mysterio. Morgan slapped Mysterio in the face, but then hit Cena with the title, leading to a victory for Mysterio. Dominik Mysterio is now a two-time Intercontinental Champion.
It didn’t take long for Mysterio to use his “dirty” tactics against Cena. Raquel Rodriguez and Roxxane Perez got involved in the match after Mysterio distracted the referee. The crowd started chanting for Cena, then began singing “Dirty, Dirty Dom”.
In the first five minutes, it was all Mysterio on offense. After Mysterio landed awkwardly outside the ring, medics looked after him. But Mysterio was faking it as Rodriguez and Perez entered the ring to hurt Cena. Rodriguez and Perez were then banned from the ringside.
Cena then took over and began to get the best of Mysterio. Mysterio and Cena began alternating finishing moves, but each time, one of them kicked out. By accident, Cena hit the referee, and then JD McDonough and Finn Balor came out to help Mysterio. Cena picked them both up and hit an Attitude Adjustment. Mysterio returned to the ring, and Cena hit him with an AA as well. But Cena’s Intercontinental title reign comes to an end after 19 days.
8:14 p.m. ET: John Cena vs. Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental title is next
The reigning Intercontinental Champion, John Cena, puts his title on the line against former title holder Dominik Mysterio. This is Cena’s final match at a premium live event in his career. This is Cena’s 177th overall match at a PLE and also his first match at Survivor Series since 2017.
This is Cena’s second-to-last match of his career, as his final match is set for December 13. Cena beat Mysterio for the Intercontinental title on the November 10 edition of Monday Night Raw. The last time the Intercontinental Championship changed hands at Survivor Series was in 2001.
7:56 p.m. ET: Team Ripley wins the match!
Rhea Ripley hit a Riptide, and then AJ Lee made Becky Lynch tap out with her signature submission, the black widow. This was an exciting 40-plus-minute showdown between 10 of the best women’s wrestlers in WWE.
Asuka started the match on the offensive, getting the best of Charlotte. Asuka used her brutality and versatile skillset to hurt Charlotte. After a few minutes, Charlotte got back to her feet and began to work her way back. Throughout their careers, Charlotte and Asuka have had many elite matches and have once again displayed their chemistry in the ring.
When Becky Lynch came out, she faced off with her long-time rival, Charlotte Flair. Alexa Bliss entered the match, and she teamed up with Flair and Sky to hurt the opposing team. Kairi Sane and Asuka cornered their former friend, Iyo Sky, and brutally hurt her. Then they tied up Flair, Sky, and Bliss with a chain.
AJ Lee had to enter the match from the top of the cage after Lynch was trying to stop her from getting in the cage. Lee went after Lynch right away in the cage. Nia Jax, the most powerful wrestler in this match, destroyed everyone in sight as soon as she set foot in the cage. Jax’s friend, Lash Legend, was the final member of the match to enter, and she inserted her dominance right away.
Ripley went toe-to-toe with Legend, creating a great moment in the match. When the match officially began with all 10 competitors, the crowd was heavily involved with each wrestler going back and forth. Iyo Sky had a trash can over herself and jumped off the top of the cage. This has become an annual tradition for Sky.
7:44 p.m. ET: All members have entered, and WarGames officially begins
The final wrestler to enter the match is Lash Legend, and now all 10 competitors are locked inside WarGames. Legend is a new member of the SmackDown roster, having previously competed in NXT.
7:41 p.m. ET: Rhea Ripley has arrived
Rhea Ripley, the fifth and final member of her team, is here and brought a trash can among other items. Ripley has been involved in many WarGames matches in the past and is accustomed to this match type.
7:37 p.m. ET: Nia Jax enters her second WarGames match
Nia Jax seemed focused and didn’t waste time hurting her opponents when entering the match. Both teams now have one member left to join the match.
7:33 p.m. ET: AJ Lee is here!
The next competitor to join this match is AJ Lee, and her rival, Becky Lynch, tries to keep her from entering the cage. Lee goes after Lynch as soon as she gets into the WarGames structure.
7:29 p.m. ET: Kairi Sane has entered WarGames
The sixth member to enter this match is Kairi Sane, Asuka’s tag team partner. This gives Asuka and Becky Lynch much-needed help as they were struggling. Both teams now have three members in the match.
7:26 p.m. ET: Alexa Bliss is the next entrant
Alexa Bliss joins her friend Charlotte Flair and Iyo Sky in this match. Bliss gives her team a three-on-two advantage right now.
7:22 p.m. ET: Becky Lynch is here
Asuka gets some help as Becky Lynch joins her in this match. Lynch has a 2-0 record in WarGames matches in her career.
7:19 p.m. ET: Iyo Sky enters the match next
Charlotte’s teammate, Iyo Sky, has entered the match and confronted her former friend, Auska. Sky has become a staple of women’s WarGames matches and immediately made an impact today.
7:12 p.m. ET: Rules for WarGames matches
- One member of each team starts the match.
- After five minutes, a member from the advantaged team will be released to enter the match.
- After a three-minute period, alternating members from each team will enter the match until all competitors are inside the ring.
- Once all competitors have entered, WarGames officially begin.
- Once WarGames begins, if a competitor leaves the cage, their team forfeits.
- The only way to win the match is by pinfall or submission.
7:05 p.m. ET: The women’s WarGames match is first!
The first of four matches at today’s Survivor Series PLE will see Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, AJ Lee, and Iyo Sky face Nia Jax, Lash Legend, The Kabuki Warriors, and Becky Lynch in the women’s WarGames match.
Charlotte is starting the match against Asuka.
