Only two weeks remain in the fantasy football regular season. That means the time is now for postseason-starved squads to make a push. Still, with injuries piling up, most managers don’t have the luxury of a well-stocked starting lineup. Fortunately, there are several enticing options available on the waiver wire in most leagues.
Which under the radar names are worth targeting this weekend? Here are three sleepers that could help you win a DraftKings DFS or season-long fantasy matchup.

Week 13 Fantasy Football Sleepers
QB Cam Ward, Tennessee Titans ($4,600)
If you weren’t keeping up to date with the one-win Titans, all is forgiven. However, first overall pick Cam Ward is quietly playing the best football of his young career. Last week vs. Seattle, the Miami alum threw for 256 yards, ran for 37 more, and tallied two total touchdowns. It’s a nice sign for Tennessee fans during an otherwise dismal debut for the 23-year-old. Through 11 games, he’s accounted for 2,210 passing yards and seven touchdowns while coughing up six interceptions.
A rookie passer struggling out of the gates is nothing shocking. That’s especially true without reliable pass catchers and an interim coaching staff. The biggest key for Ward, especially in fantasy, is scrambling more. The youngster isn’t a true dual-threat, but he kept defenses honest with his legs in college. Over the past two weeks, Ward has picked up 70 rushing yards. Prior to that, he had gained a total of just 46 over his previous nine outings. This week’s opponents, the Jaguars, are allowing the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. For those looking to save salary under center, Ward offers high upside.
WR Jayden Higgins, Houston Texans ($3,900)
Houston’s postseason hopes are alive and well following three straight wins. That’s due in large part to the stellar play of backup quarterback Davis Mills. On Sunday, starter C.J. Stroud ($5,000) will make his highly anticipated return. For fantasy purposes, it remains to be seen how this will impact the Texans. In recent weeks, wide receiver Jayden Higgins has taken on a larger role. During that time, the rookie has hauled in 13 catches for 135 yards and two touchdowns. In addition, he garnered 25 targets, second on the team behind Nico Collins ($6,700).
Sunday’s matchup could turn into a high-scoring affair. It helps that Indianapolis’ secondary has surrendered the ninth-most fantasy points to wide receivers. Granted, the Colts did make a midseason trade for Pro Bowl cornerback Sauce Gardner. Still, they gave up 352 passing yards last week vs. the Chiefs. Other than Collins, Houston lacks proven options at wide receiver. Higgins has commanded the second-most snaps at wideout in each of the team’s previous three outings. High usage bodes well for the 22-year-old heading into a pivotal AFC South clash.
TE Darren Waller, Miami Dolphins ($3,900)
It might sound crazy, but the 4-7 Dolphins have an outside shot at the playoffs. To make a miracle happen, Miami needs to earn another win this weekend against the Saints. Fortunately for the Fins, some much-needed reinforcements have arrived. Darren Waller impressed earlier this season, compiling four touchdowns over four games played. However, a pectoral issue sent the tight end to injured reserve. Healthy once again, the former Pro Bowler will make his return to action against New Orleans.
Miami, with Tyreek Hill (knee) injured, needs targets for quarterback Tua Tagovailoa ($4,900). Other than Jaylen Waddle ($6,800), there aren’t many names on this roster that strike fear into opposing defenses. Waller, even at 33 years old, is a bonafide red zone threat. It’s also worth noting that the veteran was being ramped up into game action. The Dolphins, desperate for a win, won’t have that luxury on Sunday. Without much competition for snaps or touches, Waller is undervalued at $3,900.
