Saturday is here, which means a jam-packed set of NBA games. Eight matchups between 16 teams are on tap, including superstar showdowns and clashes between postseason contenders. Still, with so many choices for bettors, making the wrong pick is also a possibility.
Which players can you trust this evening? Here are my three favorite NBA prop bet picks on DraftKings Sportsbook for tonight’s contests.
Top NBA prop bet picks
Giannis Antetokounmpo 47+ points + rebounds + assists (-114)
A Friday defeat against the Knicks handed the Bucks their seventh straight loss, a major blow for their postseason chances. With that being said, tonight presents the perfect opportunity to get back on track. The Nets might be the worst team in basketball, having gone 3-15 so far. Milwaukee, even on the second leg of a back-to-back, should come out motivated. That includes the team’s best player, Giannis Antetokounmpo. Against New York, the two-time MVP notched 30 points, 15 rebounds and eight assists.
Despite dealing with injuries, it’s been another terrific campaign for the Greek Freak. Through 14 games, he’s averaging 31.1 points, 11.1 rebounds and 6.9 assists while shooting over 63% from the field. Granted, there’s blowout potential for Saturday’s contest. Regardless, Milwaukee’s desperation for a win should keep Antetokounmpo on the court for at least 30 minutes; that’s enough time to do damage. Brooklyn has surrendered the ninth-most points (119.4), fifth-most assists (28.8) and ninth-most rebounds (55.8) per game to opponents. Giannis has reached 47+ P+R+A in five of his last seven appearances. All signs point to another all-around performance on Saturday.
Immanuel Quickley 3+ three-pointers made (-117)
RJ Barrett (knee) is injured, leaving the Raptors without one of their best players. Still, 14-5 Toronto wields one of the Eastern Conference’s best starting lineups. When one is sidelined, the rest of this team’s core is capable of stepping up. Immanuel Quickley dealt with nagging health issues for most of last season. However, the former Knicks guard remains a force on offense. This year, IQ has posted 15.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game along with 45/37/74 shooting splits.
Without Barrett, Quickley should take on a larger role going forward. In the right spot, that could mean plenty of points for the sixth-year-pro. Why not tonight against a mediocre Hornets defense? Charlotte has surrendered the seventh-most points (120.6) and tenth-most three-pointers made (13.9) per game to opponents. Quickley has drained at least three shots from beyond the arc in over half of his appearances this season. Against a lackluster perimeter defense, Toronto’s underrated scorer could go off.
Pascal Siakam 8+ rebounds (+104)
Not much has gone right for the re-tooling Pacers, mired in last place. Granted, most key contributors have been injured at some point for the defending Eastern Conference champions. That hasn’t been the case for Pascal Siakam, who continues to play at a high level. However, without Tyrese Haliburton, he’s had to operate as Indiana’s first option on offense. Through 18 games, the Cameroonian is averaging 23.9 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.4 assists.
Typically, the safest Siakam bet would be his point total. That’s not the case on Saturday against a mediocre Bulls front court. Veteran center Nikola Vucevic has never been the best at boxing out, nor are most of his teammates. Over Chicago’s last three games, teams are snagging an NBA-high 62.0 rebounds. Siakam has hauled in at least eight boards in three of his previous four outings. To make things more enticing, these two clubs rank inside the top ten in pace of play. That should lend itself to more shots, and rebounding opportunities. Expect a productive day on the glass for Indiana’s leading man.
