NBA Best Bets: Mavericks vs. Lakers Prop Bets for Friday 11/28/25

The NBA Cup continues group play on Black Friday with 11 matchups on the board. One of the tastiest matchups takes place at Crypto.com Arena in the second game of the Prime Video doubleheader as the Dallas Mavericks visit the Los Angeles Lakers. The 13-4 Lakers have already clinched the Western Conference Group B by winning their first three Cup games, while the 5-14 Mavericks have been eliminated after going 1-2. This will be the first matchup between these teams in the 2025-26 season, and it’s another chance for Lakers star Luka Doncic to get revenge on the team that traded him last year.

In the bigger picture, on DraftKings Sportsbook, the Lakers are 10.5-point road favorites, with the game total set at O/U 230.5 points.

While the game doesn’t have any NBA Cup impact, it will still have plenty of drama, so let’s grab some top player prop bets that look like good spots to attack this Friday night.

Mavericks vs. Lakers Best Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook

Austin Reaves over 31.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-125)

Reaves has gone over this prop line in five straight games and seven of his last eight. While his usage could drop a little bit with LeBron James ramping up, so far he’s still stayed very productive, posting 32, 36, and 43 PRA (points, rebounds, and assists) in the three games since James returned.
Reaves had 31 points in just 35 minutes on Tuesday in the Lakers last game.

In this matchup, Reaves should get space to operate since the Mavs will try to sell out to stop Luka. The Mavs have been a good matchup for opposing guards all season, and Reaves should be able to keep his momentum rolling and go over this number again on Friday night.

Brandon Williams 16+ Points + Assists (-127)

The Mavericks listed Anthony Davis (calf) as questionable for Friday, so instead of diving into the frontcourt uncertainty, let’s grab a player prop from the Mavs backcourt and back Brandon Williams to get at least 16 points and assists.
Williams has gone over this prop line in eight of his last 10 games and five of his last six, coming in at 13 points and assists against the Knicks in his only down game.

Since then, he had five points and 12 assists against the Pelicans, 18 points and four assists against the Grizzlies, and 12 points and five assists against the Heat.

Since moving into the starting lineup nine games ago, Williams has averaged 13 points and 5.6 assists. The 26-year-old from the Los Angeles area should be able to step it up in this homecoming game against the Lakers.

Max Christie 3+ 3PM (+156)

Christie was part of the Luka-AD trade, so he’ll be one of several players facing his former team. If you’re looking for a more aggressive player prop, I like him to hit at least three three-pointers at plus money in this contest.

The 22-year-old has stepped up for the Mavs this season, starting each of their last 16 games and averaging 2.6 3PM per game. He made three three’s against the Heat on Monday in his most recent game, and he has at least three three’s in seven of his last nine games.

Christie is shooting 47.6% from long-range on the season, and he should bet plenty of chances as he tries to help the Mavs keep up with the Lakers. Christie has taken 105 3-point attempts and just 64 2-point attempts this season, and he should continue to get the green light from long range in this matchup, making him a solid play to make at least three triples on Friday.
