Dak Prescott leads the league with 3,261 passing yards while Patrick Mahomes has attempted the most passes (441). Drake Maye has the highest completion percentage at 71% while Matthew Stafford has thrown the most touchdowns (30). Tua Tagovailoa and Geno Smith have thrown the most interceptions (13) while Cam Ward has taken the most sacks (45). Josh Allen and Maye have completed the most passes over 20 yards (45) while Sam Darnold leads the league with 11 completed passes over 40 yards. Finally, Stafford has the longest completion at 88 yards.

Here are my favorite QB/WR stacks for Week 13.

5. Trevor Lawrence ($5,400) & Parker Washington ($5,400), Jaguars at Titans

Lawrence was once the Golden Boy of the NFL, selected No. 1 overall in the 2021 draft with the 6-foot-6, 220-pound frame and flowing blonde locks. He has been far from that guy, though, as the processing has glitched at times while the touch is often nonexistent. That said, he hasn’t been completely useless, especially from a fantasy perspective, as he’s put up over 20 FPTS four times. Now he gets a matchup against a Titans defense that has allowed the fifth-highest EPA per dropback while allowing a 69.9 completion percentage.

Brian Thomas Jr. missed the last three games due to injury but has been cleared for this one. Parker Washington was still playing over 80% of the snaps with Thomas in the lineup and out-targeted him the last time the two played together back in Week 9 — Washington nine targets, Thomas five targets. Washington put up 17 FPTS in that contest and was around 18 FPTS in two of the last three games.

4. Justin Herbert ($6,500) & Ladd McConkey ($6,300), Chargers vs. Raiders

Herbert has been bad the last two weeks, finishing with 14.7 and 4.3 FPTS. Against Pittsburgh, the Chargers had the game in hand so the run game took precedence. Last week, the Jaguars completely stymied the Chargers passing attack, holding Herbert to 10-of-18 for 81 yards and an interception. The injuries on the offensive line are concerning for sure, but the Chargers should get a reprieve this week as they face the Las Vegas Raiders, a team that is in disarray and just allowed Shedeur Sanders to throw for 209 yards and a touchdown in his first career start. Herbert faced the Raiders back in Week 2 and went 19-of-27 for 252 yards and two touchdowns, good for 19.8 FPTS.

In Week 8, McConkey put up 20.8 FPTS. The following week, he only had 9.6 FPTS. In Week 10, McConkey finished with 23.7 FPTS. Last week, he contributed only 4.3 FPTS. If the SATs have taught me anything, it’s that McConkey will put up over 20 FPTS in this one. I kid, I kid, but not really because McConkey should feast against a Raiders secondary that has allowed the 10th-highest EPA per dropback.

3. Josh Allen ($7,500) & Khalil Shakir ($5,500), Bills at Steelers

Allen has had three poor fantasy games this season. In Week 2, he finished with 11.8 FPTS, as he wasn’t needed much in a 30-10 drubbing of the Jets. In Week 6, Allen put up 17.4 FPTS against a Falcons team that ambushed the Bills, 24-14, at home. Last week, Allen had 10.1 FPTS as the Texans got the win, 23-19. Houston legitimately has one of the best defenses in the league, so no shame there. In the rest of the games, Allen put up over 20 FPTS with two over 40 FPTS. Pittsburgh does have 34 sacks on the season, the fifth-most in the NFL, and the EPA per dropback is 17th-highest, but Caleb Williams just torched them for 239 yards and three touchdowns last week.

The Bills don’t have an alpha receiver and Allen spreads the ball around. In addition, Shakir only has an aDOT of 4.0, but he leads the team with 71 targets on the season and garnered 10 last week. He finished with 21 FPTS and went over 20 FPTS in Week 8, so Shakir has some semblance of ceiling. The likely outcome is somewhere in the low-teens, though.

2. Matthew Stafford ($7,000) & Puka Nacua ($9,000), Rams at Panthers

Since Week 4, Stafford has been one of the best quarterbacks in the league, from both a real-life and fantasy perspective. He’s put up over 20 FPTS in all but two contests with a high of 30.4 FPTS. He’s thrown multiple touchdowns in all but one of those games with three games of four, four and five touchdowns. Carolina does have 10 interceptions on the season but the Panthers are 31st in pressure rate and the 16 sacks are the second-fewest in the league.

Nacua is 10th in the NFL with 98 targets, but he missed most of Week 6 due to injury and is still trying to get back into the groove. Over the first five weeks of the season, Nacua received 11, nine, 15, 15 and 12 targets, finishing with over 24 FPTS in every contest and a high of 39 FPTS. Over the last four weeks, while he’s put up double-digit FPTS in all, only one has been over 20 FPTS. He’s also received only eight, six, eight and 11 targets. It’s only a matter of time before he starts getting peppered with over 10 targets on a weekly basis again.

1. Jacoby Brissett ($5,800) & Michael Wilson ($5,900), Cardinals at Buccaneers

Since Brissett took over as starter for an injured Kyler Murray, he’s put up over 20 FPTS in all six games. He’s attempted over 40 passes in four of those contests, thrown for over 300 yards three times and produced two touchdowns in all but one of those games. Now he faces a Buccaneers team that is one of the best at defending the run, so the path of least resistance is through the air. Brissett will be flinging it all over the field once again.

Wilson has garnered 18 and 15 targets over the last two games, finishing with 185 and 118 yards, good for 36.5 and 24.8 FPTS. Marvin Harrison Jr. was out for those contests and is questionable for this one. If Harrison does return, that lowers the ceiling for Wilson, but I think he will still be a big part of the action since he’s developed some nice chemistry with Brissett recently.

Stan joined DraftKings in December of 2020. It was a glorious time, except for that whole COVID thing, when we got Madden streams and boisterous bat flips from the KBO. I was brought on board to bring some West Coast flavor. I especially love hoops, and most of my content is in that arena. When I walk along the beach, strumming my guitar, the beat that I hear is not one of crashing waves. No, it is the beat of the ball bouncing off the hardwood with highs provided by the squeaks of the sneakers. Ball is life.
