One of the biggest WWE premium live events of the year, Survivor Series: WarGames, has arrived! This is the 39th annual Survivor Series event in WWE history, and the first to take place in an outdoor baseball ballpark. Saturday’s PLE is taking place at Petco Park in San Diego, California. This is also the fourth consecutive year that a WarGames match has happened at Survivor Series.
This year’s card is headlined by a men’s and women’s WarGames match. Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker from the Vision added Brock Lesnar, Logan Paul, and Drew McIntyre to their team to take on CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and Jimmy and Jey Uso. John Cena is defending his Intercontinental title against former champion Dominik Mysterio, who is from San Diego.

WWE Survivor Series: WarGames Predictions and Full Card
Men’s WarGames Match: Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso vs. Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Brock Lesnar & Drew McIntyre
Although the build-up has been quick, this has the potential to be an excellent WarGames match. Each member of this match has a long history with the others. The team opposing The Vision led group is stacked with the two current WWE World Champions, Cody Rhodes and CM Punk, as well as former champion Roman Reigns and Jey Uso.
Reigns and The Usos have a ton of history with Paul Heyman dating back to their days with the Bloodline. Heyman was Punk’s former Advocate and best friend. Also, Reigns, Rhodes, and Punk all have had many feuds with Lesnar over the years. You have Breakker, Reed, and Paul as the up-and-comers in this match.
Having a WarGames match with six of 10 members being world champions is extremely rare. Although the heel group presents a ton of problems, a team with two wrestlers holding the two most important titles in the company needs to win this match.
Men’s WarGames Match Prediction: Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso defeat Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Brock Lesnar & Drew McIntyre
Women’s WarGames Match: Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, AJ Lee, & Iyo Sky vs. Nia Jax, Lash Legend, The Kabuki Warriors & Becky Lynch
This matchup has heated up in recent weeks, with AJ Lee and Becky Lynch becoming the final two participants last week. Even though the heels have done a good job of combating the babyfaces, this is a one-sided match. They have assembled an all-star team of former champions, including Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, Iyo Sky, and Lee.
All five members of that team have held gold in the past. I think the babyface team will also win this WarGames match, as they have one of the greatest WarGames teams in history.
Women’s WarGames Match Prediction: Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, AJ Lee, & Iyo Sky pick up the victory.
WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: John Cena (c) vs. Dominik Mysterio
John Cena’s last premium live event is here. Cena is defending his Intercontinental Championship against Dominik Mysterio. Cena won the title from Mysterio in his hometown of Boston, Massachusetts, on November 10 and is now giving Mysterio a rematch in his home city of San Diego.
After this appearance, John Cena only has one final match left on his retirement tour on December 13 in Washington, DC. Cena began this tour competing at the Royal Rumble and will make his final stop at a PLE at another iconic one with Survivor Series.
This will be Cena’s 177th match on a premium live event in his career. Cena has competed at 11 Survivor Series events in his career, but this is his first match at Survivor Series since 2017. This is Cena’s fourth championship singles match at Survivor Series and first since 2013.
Cena beat Mysterio in his hometown, so it would seem like the opposite would occur in the hometown of Mysterio. But to me, that is too predictable of an outcome. Having Cena still as the reigning Intercontinental Champion heading into his final match would create a ton of intrigue and questions. I also believe this could be a spot that Finn Balor or a returning Liv Morgan could turn on Mysterio.

Women’s World Championship Match: Stephanie Vaquer(c) vs. Nikki Bella
Nikki Bella returned earlier this year at the Royal Rumble and has become more active as the year has gone on. This is Bella’s second singles match at a PLE this year and first since she lost to Becky Lynch at Clash in Paris in August.
The last time Bella challenged for a Women’s World title on a premium live event was at Evolution in 2018 against Ronda Rousey. Bella developed a friendship with Stephanie Vaquer in the past few months, but then turned on her a few weeks ago. Although Bella is an elite veteran and former champion, Vaquer has a versatile skillset that gives her the edge in this contest.
