Charlie’s King of the End Zone Pick for Thanksgiving: Xavier Worthy
You want to talk about someone who’s overdue for some scoring? Look at Xavier Worthy. After scoring six times on 79 touches during his rookie season, Worthy has only one touchdown on 38 touches this year. Injuries have certainly played a role, and it’s jarring to see him look so inexplosive. But that changed last week when the X-Man broke off a 31-yard catch. And it wasn’t just different results from the same process.
Now that Worthy is going downfield more than hovering around the line of scrimmage, his long scoring potential is through the roof. Playing against a Cowboys defense that is hemorrhaging big plays left and right, I love picking his anytime touchdown at +180 and tossing your King of the End Zone token on him. You can play it safe with the running backs, or try to wrangle a whale of a bonus bet with Worthy.
