BREAK IT DOWN:

(stats taken from DraftKings Sportsbook’s Stats Hub)

Kel’el Ware Double-Double, Yes (-142): 18, 16, 14. Those are Ware’s points in his last three games, right? Wrong. Ware has been bullying the glass, averaging 15.1 boards over his last eight games, including a 20-rebound takeover in an OT win against Cleveland on November 11. And while the boards have carried the headline, his scoring has been trending up. He’s hit double figures in seven of his last ten, and every time he gets to 10+, he cashes the double-double. Looking at the recent stretch, Ware has dropped 20 points in each of Miami’s last three and pulled down 14+ rebounds in five straight. He’s a long, fluid 7-footer who lives around the rim and cleans up the glass like it’s instinct. With that mix of touch and activity, it’s easy to understand why the public is leaning heavy on the yes tonight.

Rudy Gobert Double-Double, Yes (+176): Minnesota walks into a tough one against the defending champs — an OKC team that owns the league’s best defense and has dropped just one game all season. However, the Thunder haven’t exactly dominated the glass. They sit right at league average in rebound percentage (50.1), tied with… the Timberwolves. That’s the opening for Gobert. He’s pulled down 12+ rebounds in each of Minnesota’s last three, pushing his season average to 10.2 boards (10th). His scoring hasn’t been explosive, but it’s been steady enough to keep him within reach of a double-double most nights. And lately, the 33-year-old has been climbing back into classic Gobert form: back-to-back double-doubles, and he was only one point or one board away in the two games before that. In an NBA Cup matchup with playoff-level intensity against arguably the best team in the league, backing him to get there again is strong value.

Cade Cunningham Double-Double, Yes (-113): If you want the simplest explanation for why the public is hammering this prop: Cade Cunningham has logged a double-double in seven straight. Honestly, that alone could close the case. But the bigger picture is even more convincing. Cade’s been in full command of Detroit’s offense, averaging 27.1 points per game and ranking second in the league in assists per game at 9.6. He’s scoring from all three levels, picking apart defenses with pace, and giving you a built-in assist floor every night.

Looking at his recent stretch, Cunningham has put up 25+ in seven of his last eight outings and hasn’t dropped below double digits once. With the scoring volume and the playmaking both trending upward, backing another double-double from Cade tonight just fits the pattern.
