DraftKings NBA Pick6 Fantasy Basketball Picks Today: Top Picks for November 26

Published:

By: Bill Yin

The NBA has a healthy nine game slate tonight right before Thanksgiving, on which no games will be played. Things are tipping off early today at just 5 PM EST with the Pistons visiting the Celtics. The slate will conclude with three Western Conference games all beginning at 10 PM EST: the Spurs visiting the Blazers, the Rockets visiting the Warriors, and the Suns visiting the Kings.

The Pistons and Thunder are atop their respective conferences. The Pistons have dropped two games, while the Thunder have only dropped one. The Pistons are currently on a 13 game win streak and are looking to carry this strong momentum with them through the season. It’s been a long time coming for Pistons fans, but I think Detroit, a few years removed from a 16-68 record, is finally here.

There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!

This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my six favorite plays for tonight’s action.

Jaylen Brown Less than 26.5 Points

Brown is playing at an All-Star level this season, posting averages of 27.9 PPG, 5.6 RPG, and 4.3 APG with 50.6% shooting from the field. His efficiency has been nice, and he’s been shouldering the Celtics’ offensive responsibilities in Jayson Tatum’s absence. Tonight he’ll match up against the Detroit Pistons, who are currently a top three defense.

Brown could easily have issues tonight getting to his 26.5 point line due to the difficult matchup. Additionally, the Celtics are lacking other offensive options – at least consistent ones. The Pistons really don’t need to pressure anybody else; they can just focus on shutting down Brown and the game should be theirs. The Celtics don’t have any other players averaging over 17 PPG, and their shooters haven’t woken up yet.

Alperen Sengun More Than 23.5 Points

Due to Kevin Durant’s personal two game absence, Sengun will be the Rockets’ main offensive weapon tonight against the Warriors. We saw how effective he could be in this role last season, during which Sengun made his first All-Star appearance with 19.1 PPG, 10.3 RPG, and 4.9 APG. Sengun has leveled up again this season, improving his PPG to 22.4 and his APG to 7.1. We’re also beginning to see some development with his three ball, although I’m still highly skeptical whether his 3P% can remain above 40%. I’m going to say certainly not, but Sengun should be able to get his tonight.

Tyler Herro More Than 19.5 Points

Herro returned last game after an offseason injury and posted 24 points on 66% shooting from the field. He looks like he hasn’t missed a beat, and should at least match his last season’s All-Star level output of 23.9 PPG, 5.2 RPG, and 5.5 APG. The Bucks are the 21st rated defense in the league, and Herro should continue getting his legs under him in this matchup tonight. We’re going to get in on his 19.5 line while it’s still low, because it’s going to jump quickly from here on out.
