The King Reigns Again
Sometimes the easy route is the best. Once again, Luka Doncic is our King of the Court, putting up a monstrous 65 P/R/A against the Los Angeles Clippers. He blew away the field. Congrats to the Doncic bettors, who have a $24 bonus bet heading their way. Here’s a look at the final top five on the leaderboard:

Back to Back?
It didn’t even take three quarters for Luka Doncic to unseat CJ McCollum. With 56 P/R/A and counting, it looks like Luka will take home another crown.
But will James Harden have something to say? He remains in striking distance, having crossed 40 P/R/A already.
The Inevitable One
Well, at least CJ McCollum’s lead survived a full half. We’re at the midway point in the Battle of Los Angeles, and Luka Doncic is set on taking another King of the Court crown. He’s up to a startling 41 P/R/A at halftime, just 14 shy of McCollum’s mark.
Still, you cannot count out James Harden. He’s chugging alone with 25 total P/R/A at halftime, and is liable to put up some huge scoring outbursts. If the Clippers can figure out a way to slow down Doncic, the crown is there for the taking. Gear up for an intense second half in LA.
Luka Magic
The projected leader on the night. The defending King of the Court champion. The contest is not over until Luka Doncic has the final say. And it looks like he’s preparing for a banger of a night.
The Lakers superstar put up 24 points in the first quarter to go with a rebound and three assists. Already, he’s more than halfway to catching CJ McCollum for the crown. James Harden is putting up a good fight as well with 19 P/R/A. We’re in for another wild finish.
Disappointment in Philly
Despite the promising start, the Magic and Sixers fell short of challenging CJ McCollum. Anthony Black had the high water mark with 35 P/R/A, but that wasn’t close to CJ’s mark. We have to look to the night game for a challenge from Doncic, Harden, or whoever else has a big performance in store.
Late Charge?
Despite the absence of Jalen Suggs after an ejection, Anthony Black has not kept the momentum going. He’s only added a handful of P/R/A during the third quarter, and would need a monstrous fourth quarter to overtake CJ McCollum. His teammate Franz Wagner is in the same boat, and Tyrese Maxey isn’t even close.
It’s possible someone goes nuts in the fourth and puts a challenge into McCollum’s line. But, in all likelihood, we’ll have our eyes on the late game. Luka Doncic, our reigning King of the Court, will have plenty to say. And don’t count out the Beard from getting in on the action.
CJ Sets the Bar
Take a bow, CJ McCollum. He put the finishing touches on a great night by adding 13 more points in the fourth quarter, taking him up to 46 points along with five rebounds and four assists. McCollum’s 55 P/R/A leads our board by a hefty margin.
However, a new challenger emerges in Philadelphia. Anthony Black has a whopping 25 points off the bench at halftime. It would be wild if he kept up this pace and challenged the top spot, but as we’ve seen already, anything can happen with King of the Court on the line.
McCollum Padding Down the Stretch Run
We’re heading into the fourth quarter of the Wizards-Hawks game, and CJ McCollum continues to cook. He went nuclear in the first half, and even with a slower third quarter, he continues to lead the King of the Court rankings.
McCollum has 39 points to go with four rebounds and four assists. He’s 10 P/R/A clear of the field, and there’s no slowing down in sight. Let’s see how high he can set the bar.
Second Half Underway in DC
It’s time to see if CJ McCollum is man or mouse. Can he put together another hot half and solidify his position at the top of the board? Will anyone else in this game threaten him, like teammate Alex Sarr? Don’t forget our Sixers-Magic game, which is underway. Things are starting to heat up on the leaderboard; stay tuned.
All Wizards At Half
1-15 record be damned, the Wizards are hooping. They’re up 22 points at half over the Hawks behind an elite performance from their offense. That’s led by CJ McCollum, AKA the Man on Fire.
We’ll see if he can keep it up, but for now, it’s all Washington atop the leaderboard.
Crispy Kispy
CJ McCollum wasn’t the only Wizard to get off to a hot start tonight. Corey Kispert is scorching from deep against the Hawks, and has surged to the top of the leaderboard.
How about a tidy $35,700 bonus bet if Kispert were to keep this up? That would be quite the upset.
VP Cooking in DC
Hot start out of the gate for CJ McCollum against the Atlanta Hawks. The veteran piled up nine points in the first four minutes of game time to take an early lead on the King of the Court leaderboard.
On a small slate, anything is possible. Any and all hot stretches may lead to an upset tonight. Who knows what’s going to happen during KOTC!
