The Skins Game 2025 Prediction, Pick for Black Friday

After a 17-year hiatus, the Skins Game will return this Friday and be streamed on Amazon Prime at 9:00 AM EST. This is a four-player golf match between Xander Schauffele, Tommy Fleetwood, Shane Lowry and Keegan Bradley, which will be played at Panther National (par 72, 7,864 yards, Bermuda greens) in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, which was designed by Justin Thomas and Jack Nicklaus.

This edition of the Skins Game will feature a “reserve purse,” as each player will begin with a purse of $1 million and their purses will increase and decrease based on holes won and lost. The player who has won the most holes by the end of the match will be the winner of the Skins Game.

Below, I have featured my pick to win the Skins Game on DraftKings Sportsbook.

The Skins Game 2025 Pick

Xander Schauffele (+260)

After missing the start of the season with a rib injury, it took some time for Schauffele to find his form, but he has been excellent as of late and is the best pick to win the Skins Game. After making some serious noise at the Ryder Cup in September, finishing 3-1-0 in his matches and finishing in a tie with Cameron Young for the most points for Team USA, Schauffele went on to win the Baycurrent Classic in his next solo start in October.

This marked the 10th win of Schauffele’s career and his third top-eight finish in his last five starts. During this victory, Schauffele ranked top-12 in both SG APP and SGP, and he led the field in birdies. Schauffele is a streaky player that has a knack for dominating once he finds his form – he won back-to-back events in 2022 – and he should flourish at Panther National, given Nicklaus designed this venue with Thomas.

Schauffele won the 2024 PGA Championship at the Nicklaus-designed Valhalla Golf Club and he has finished inside the top-15 in four of his eight starts at Nicklaus’ most famous venue in Muirfield Village. Schauffele is gaining 1.24 strokes per round for his career at Nicklaus designs, which is easily the best of this four-man field for the Skins Game. Ranking second is Lowry at 0.81.
