What happened to RJ Barrett? Live injury updates for Nets vs. Raptors on 11/23/25

With 7:32 left in the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Brooklyn Nets, RJ Barrett threw down a two-handed breakaway dunk after notching a steal. Unfortunately, after landing, he hobbled back up the floor.

Barrett made his way to the locker room and has now been ruled out for the remainder of the contest.

Prior to exiting, Barrett contributed 16 points, two rebounds, an assist and two steals in 20 minutes. Collin Murray-Boyles was the substitute.

Barrett has not missed a game yet this season, so there is uncertainty as to how the rotations will be if Barrett is out for an extended period of time. Murray-Boyles would likely be the primary beneficiary, but Gradey Dick and Ja’Kobe Walter could see an increase in playing time due to their shooting prowess.
