What happened to DK Metcalf? Live injury updates for Bears vs. Steelers NFL Week 12 on 11/23/25

UPDATE 2:12 PM: DK Metcalf has returned to the game for the Steelers after the Bears scored to tie the game at 14-points apiece.

With the Steelers up 14-7 in the second quarter on an offensive drive, star wideout DK Metcalf, who already scored a touchdown on the day, headed to the medical tent before Pittsburgh failed to convert on a fourth down. He’s now officially questionable to return with an ankle injury.

As you can see in the broadcast video, he’s clearly hobbled. We’ll likely get some indication of his status as soon as Pittsburgh’s next offensive drive.

We’ll wait to hear more from the Steelers, or at least wait to see if Metcalf comes out with his helmet next drive.
