Javonte Williams More Than 0.5 Rushing + Receiving Touchdowns
Javonte Williams should be in for a big game against the Eagles. This divisional battle should be one of the best games of Sunday. The Philadelphia defense will have the tough task of stopping the Cowboys’ offense, especially as CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens have emerged as arguably the best wide receiver duo in the NFL this season. With so much attention focused on them, it has allowed Javonte Williams to thrive. The passing game has stolen the show, but the Dallas offense also ranks sixth in the NFL in EPA/rush and fourth in rushing success rate.
Meanwhile, the Eagles rank 30th in the NFL in rushing touchdown percentage allowed. Meaning, they are one of the only teams in the NFL to allow more rushing touchdowns than passing touchdowns this season. With so much focus on the Cowboys’ elite receiver duo, Williams should sneak in and score his ninth rushing touchdown of the season against the Eagles.
Andre Iosivas More Than 35.5 Receiving Yards
The Bengals will have to take on the Patriots without Ja’Marr Chase this week. Despite their struggles this season, the Bengals still have an offense capable of offensive explosions due to the talent at the skill positions. The Patriots can be attacked through the air as well. They have the best rush defenses in the NFL by yards allowed, but rank 20th in defensive dropback success rate.
The Patriots do have one lockdown corner, Christian Gonzalez. Typically, Gonzalez would be tasked with shadowing Ja’Marr Chase, which would elevate WR2 Tee Higgins to Joe Flacco’s top target. However, Gonzalez will now be able to focus on Higgins with Chase sidelined. That could mean a big game for WR3 Andrei Iosivas. Iosivas, who has been a much bigger part of the Cincinnati offense the last two weeks with 11 targets over that stretch. Iosivas has not had much of a chance to shine this season, but this could be the game in which he shows what he is capable of.
Tyrod Taylor Less Than 0.5 Interceptions Thrown
Tyrod Taylor will once again be getting the start for the Jets. In his one start this season, he played well and almost upset the Buccaneers on the road. Justin Fields has been dreadful, giving the Jets no passing attack. Taylor should provide more stability at quarterback, distributing the ball like a veteran. He has maintained his place as one of the best backup quarterbacks in the NFL because of his leadership off the field and his consistency on the field when he plays. Taylor is actually one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history at turnover avoidance.
Tyrod Taylor is tied for fourth in the NFL in career interception percentage alongside Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady. Taylor has thrown an interception on just 1.8% of his career passes. Only Jacoby Brissett, Justin Herbert and Aaron Rodgers have a better career percentage than Taylor. Against his former team, he should stay composed and make things easy for himself, by not forcing throws down the field. The Ravens have just six interceptions on the season and have not excelled at taking the ball away. Taylor should continue his incredible career
