Big Ten rivals are set to meet this weekend for a pivotal showdown in Eugene. For #7 Oregon, a win over a ranked opponent would solidify its postseason chances. #15 USC has playoff dreams of its own. A road upset of this magnitude would likely vault the Trojans up the CFP rankings.
Which players will step up for their squad on Saturday? These are the top college football player props to consider at DraftKings Sportsbook for Week 13’s contest between the USC Trojans and the Oregon Ducks.
Oregon enters this contest as 9.5-point favorites (-112) over USC, with the over/under set at 59.5 points on DraftKings Sportsbook.
USC vs. Oregon best prop bets
King Miller 70+ rushing yards (-132)
Oregon’s defense ranks among the nation’s best, thanks in large part to its secondary. The team has allowed just 127.3 passing yards per game, the lowest mark in the Big Ten. In addition, they’ve managed to snag nine interceptions. That makes the Ducks a dangerous matchup for any quarterback, even USC star Jayden Maiava. If the Trojans are going to find offensive success, running the ball will be imperative.
Fortunately for Southern Cal, running back King Miller is up for the challenge. Through nine games, the freshman has churned out 719 rushing yards and five touchdowns. Unsurprisingly, he’s notched an efficient 7.3 yards per carry this season. In six of Miller’s appearances, he’s reached 70 or more rushing yards. Oregon’s run defense, while solid, isn’t impenetrable. Six different Big Ten opponents have garnered at least 100 total rushing yards vs. the Ducks. USC’s RB1 is poised for another productive outing on Saturday.
Kenyon Sadiq 50+ receiving yards (-122)
One of the defining traits of this Oregon offense is its depth. Five different pas catchers have garnered at least 250 receiving yards. That makes singling out just one player a difficult task for bettors. If anyone on the Ducks stands out, it’s Kenyon Sadiq. The 6’3″, 245-pound tight end is a chore for opposing defenses. Over nine games, he’s snagged 30 catches for 407 yards and six touchdowns.
Unlike Oregon, the Trojans aren’t the most formidable on defense. That’s especially true in the secondary, where they’ve allowed 280+ passing yards to six of their ten opponents. In comparison, Sadiq is fresh off of an eight-catch, 96-yard performance last Friday vs. Minnesota. Dakorien Moore, the Ducks’ leading receiver, is currently listed as doubtful with a knee injury. Fellow wideout Gary Bryant Jr. is also questionable this week due to an ankle injury. If one or both can’t play, more targets should be funneled towards Sadiq on Saturday.
