Michigan Wolverines vs. Maryland Terrapins (Saturday – 4:00 pm ET)

This is just a really bad spot for Michigan, while Maryland can just sit back and play with house money and see if it can put a scare into the superior team. The Wolverines went right down to the wire last week against Northwestern, needing a last second field goal to get the win at Wrigley Field. Of course, on deck is the big game at home against Ohio State to conclude the regular season. Sandwiched between them is a clear lookahead spot against the Terps.

Michigan is just 1-4 ATS on the road this season, with the lone cover against Nebraska. Even more alarming, the Wolverines are only 1-5 ATS when laying double digits this season. Their only cover way back in September when laying 28 against Central Michigan. Meanwhile, New Mexico +34.5, Wisconsin +17.5, Michigan State +14, Purdue +21 and Northwestern +10 all got home against this team. Since defeating Washington about a month ago, Michigan has been sleep walking a bit, winning the last two over Purdue and Northwestern by a combined seven points.

While Maryland has lost six in a row in the conference, the Terps have showed some spunk, taking Washington and Nebraska down to the wire as a home underdog. Mike Locksley is committed to this program, and the players enjoy playing for him. This should be a spot that Maryland shows up ready to play, and can catch Michigan off guard.

CFB Pick: Maryland +14 (-108)
