Week 13 of the college football season has a great slate of Saturday games, capped off by a fun Big 12 matchup between BYU and Cincinnati.

However, this is still a massive game that Sorsby and his team will want to win. Sorsby has a 22-4 TD-INT ratio and also has nine rushing touchdowns on the season. He has found the end zone on the ground in all but two games this season, including a rushing score in each of his past four games. If BYU’s defense is going to be beaten, it will likely be on the ground. The Cougars have a top-10 pass defense in the country by EPA. However, they rank 40th in defensive rushing success rate, so Sorsby should find space on the ground and make it five straight games with a rushing score.
Bear Bachmeier 2+ TD Passes (+102)
Bear Bachmeier has been sensational for BYU this season. The freshman never expected to be the starting quarterback but took over under center after the last-second transfer of Jake Retzlaff. However, he now has his team positioned with a chance to make the College Football Playoff if the group can stay focused these next three weeks. BYU has a comfortable home game next week against UCF that it should win, so if the Cougars win this one, they will get a rematch with Texas Tech in the Big 12 title game. Looking toward today’s matchup though, Bachmeier has been tough to stop this season because of his ability to scramble and create plays. He often takes off running, but in this game, he should use his arm. Cincinnati ranks 101st in the nation in defensive dropback success rate. When BYU gets in the red zone, Bachmeier should have open targets in the end zone. In what could be a back-and-forth shootout of a game, Bachmeier should get plenty of scoring chances and throw at least two touchdowns.
