NFL Survivor Pool Strategy for Week 12 2025

NFL Survivor Pool Strategy for Week 12 2025

Updated:

By: Blake Krass

Week 12 of the NFL season is upon us, and it’s not too late to join an NFL survivor pool. You can enter the DraftKings $25K+ 11th Chance NFL Survivor pool for just $10 here.

Whether your pick lost in Week 11 or you just didn’t get the chance to join a survivor pool, you can join this one. In this survivor pool, you need to pick a team to win straight-up every week. However, once you use a team, you cannot use it again. You are eliminated from the pool if one of your picks loses. The players who survive the regular season without losing will split the grand prize of at least $25,000.

Week 12 Survivor Best Pick

Ravens over Jets

The Ravens are the hottest team in football at the moment. Tyler Huntley got them a massive win over the Bears before Lamar Jackson returned, and Jackson has gone 3-0 since getting back on the field. That four-game winning streak took the Ravens from being on life support to being just one game back of the Steelers in the AFC North. This week against the Jets is a chance for them to keep that momentum rolling. After a terrible start to the season, the Ravens’ defense has found a spark. Since their bye week, they rank third in the NFL in defensive EPA/play. The Jets’ offense ranks 27th in the NFL in offensive EPA/play, and that unit is even worse without Garrett Wilson. The Jets are not capable of keeping up with the Ravens, especially in Baltimore.

Week 12 Survivor Bold Pick

49ers over Panthers

The 49ers host the Panthers on Monday Night Football. This spread is not as long as some other favorites like the Lions, Seahawks and Patriots. However, this is a great spot for San Francisco. The 49ers are in an incredibly intense NFC Wild Card race, filled with good teams hovering around the same record. One of the teams right behind them is the Carolina Panthers. A loss in this spot could derail the 49ers’ playoff hopes with tougher games still left on their schedule. The difference in quality between these two offenses is stark. The 49ers rank ninth in the NFL in offensive EPA/play, while the Panthers rank 26th. Bryce Young is a different beast at home compared to on the road. Young has a 42% career winning percentage in Carolina, compared to a 19% career winning percentage on the road. Young is also 0-8 in his career when playing after the 1 o’clock EST time slot. The 49ers should handle this one at home and get the win.

Week 12 Survivor Favorite to Avoid

Rams over Buccaneers

The Rams are one of the best teams in the NFL. However, this is not an ideal spot for them. They are coming off back-to-back emotional wins over two division rivals. They knocked off the 49ers and Seahawks in back-to-back weeks to secure their place atop the NFC West and are likely emotionally and physically exhausted after those two back-to-back games. Meanwhile, the Buccaneers are in desperation mode. Tampa Bay has lost three of its past four games and now has just a half-game lead in the NFC South. The Buccaneers could be getting reinforcements this week with Bucky Irving and Chris Godwin both returning to practice. If Tampa Bay can add those weapons, it could be a massive spark for the offense coming into this game. Tampa Bay is a dangerous team and could be getting better this week. That makes it a team I would not fade, especially with a Rams team that could be due for a letdown.
