Marks was a seldom-used rookie until Week 4 against the Titans. In his breakout performance, the Mississippi State and USC product totaled 119 yards from scrimmage on 21 touches while scoring twice. Since then, he’s handled double-digit carries in five of six games, while getting 3+ targets in four of six. The coaching staff has learned to trust their rookie.
If they want to beat Buffalo, they need the ground game to come through. The Bills have one of the best secondaries in the league, while ranking among the worst run defenses. With backup quarterback Davis Mills under center, they don’t have a prayer unless Marks and Chubb can stay ahead of the chains.
The books know that too. Marks’ rushing yards over/under sits at 63.5, an awfully high total for a committee back.
