I’d expect Devin Cooley to start between the pipes for Calgary, considering Dustin Wolf played last night. Despite sporting a 0-2-1 record, Cooley has played well, boasting a 1.75 GAA and a .935 SV%. Luckily, the Flames are a team that Thompson loves to play against, as he has netted a goal in each of the past five meetings dating back to 2023. He also ranks first in shot attempts per 60 and fifth in shots per 60, so he will likely get the puck on the net as often as possible. Nazem Kadri 4+ Shots on Goal (+115)
We’re staying in the Sabres vs. Flames matchup because Buffalo allows the most shots per game, and Kadri has averaged nine shot attempts per game across the last five games. The Flames rank ninth in shots per game, and the 35-year-old is leading the way with 66 shots this season. He has missed this mark in two of the past three games but was on the wrong side of puck luck, considering he totaled a combined 14 shot attempts in those two matchups. Kadri ranks 25th in the NHL in shot attempts per 60, and the Sabres have particularly struggled against opposing centers so far this season.
Cutter Gauthier 4+ Shots on Goal (+100)
Gauthier’s SOG prop has been a target all season long because he is tied with Nathan MacKinnon for the most shots in the NHL. The 21-year-old ranks first in the NHL in shots per 60 and second in shot attempts per 60. Tonight, he draws a matchup against the Bruins, who rank ninth in goals allowed per game and fifth when playing on the road. The Ducks have one of the most electric offenses this season, and Gauthier has led the way in terms of scoring. Overall, he has cleared this line in 12-of-19 games and in 5-of-7 home games this season. Don’t be afraid to throw a little cash on his anytime goalscorer prop, either, which is set at +155.
