Just four games are on tap for Tuesday’s featured NBA slate. Despite the lack of quantity, there’s plenty of quality available for fantasy basketball managers. Several big names are set to take the floor tonight.
Star power is essential for any winning lineup. However, supporting high-cost pieces means balancing your budget. Under the radar players, at a low price, are a necessity. Who should you target this evening? Here are two targets worth consideration in DFS and season-long fantasy basketball formats.

SG/SF Julian Champagnie, San Antonio Spurs vs. MEM ($4,700)
Victor Wembanyama (calf) is out, leaving a major hole in San Antonio’s offense. He’s joined on the injured list by fellow youngsters Dylan Harper (calf) and Stephon Castle (hip). In their absence, the Spurs are turning to Julian Champagnie in the backcourt. Through 13 games this season, the wing is averaging 9.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists. From the field, the St. John’s alum has delivered mediocre 42/38/76 shooting splits.
Those numbers, while unimpressive, don’t mean much going into tonight’s contest. San Antonio will take on the Grizzlies, one of the NBA’s worst squads over the past month. Memphis has surrendered the third-most fantasy points to opposing shooting guards this season. In addition, the team ranks within the bottom ten in points allowed per game and opponent three-point percentage. Equipped with 25+ minutes on Tuesday, Champagnie is poised for one of his best outings so far.
SF/PF Jordan Walsh, Boston Celtics at BKN ($4,300)
A Boston squad with nothing to lose will mix-and-match all season, especially in the front court. Lacking size, outside of Neemias Queta ($5,200), head coach Joe Mazzulla could double down on small-ball. That means more usage for Jordan Walsh, a lanky, jack-of-all-trades forward with potential. This season, the 21-year-old has posted 4.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.0 steals per game. His two-way contributions are intriguing for the Celtics, who lack quality wing defenders.
Over his last five appearances, Walsh has averaged just over 26 minutes of playing time. The 6’6″ forward has snagged at least six rebounds in each of those outings. He’ll have an opportunity to do so again on Tuesday vs. the Nets. Brooklyn has coughed up the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing small forwards. The Arkansas alum has tallied at least 24.5 fantasy points in three of his last four contests. If not for a blowout win vs. Memphis, it could have easily been four straight. During Boston’s most recent game vs. the Clippers on Sunday, Walsh notched three steals and a block. A similar output could be in store against Brooklyn’s unproven ball handlers.
