The RSM Classic is the final event of the 2025 PGA TOUR season and this tournament will be played at the Seaside Course (par 70, 7,005 yards, Bermuda greens) and the Plantation Course (par 72, 7,060 yards, Bermuda greens) of the Sea Island Resort in St. Simons Island, Georgia. Each player of this 156-man field will play one round on both courses and then there will be a top-65 and ties cut. Following the cut, the players who advance will play their final two rounds on the Seaside Course, making this the host course for the RSM Classic. The players who rank inside the top-100 in the FedEx Fall standings following the RSM Classic will earn full-time status for the 2026 PGA TOUR season.
Below, I dive into three of my favorite DFS options on DraftKings for the RSM Classic.

J.T. Poston ($9,400)
Poston has advanced to the weekend at each of the last three RSM Classics, including a career-best T-5 finish at the event last season. The three-time PGA TOUR winner closed last year’s RSM Classic with a 7-under 63 at the Seaside Course and he finished the tournament third in birdies. Fast forward a year later and Poston travels back to the Sea Island Resort with a top-30 finish in each of his last four starts.
Poston has been very reliable this season, making 21-of-25 cuts and the veteran’s last victory on the PGA TOUR came during the fall time, with a one-stroke victory at last October’s Shriners Children’s Open. Poston is a real threat to contend at the RSM Classic this week and he is a compelling spend that could get lost in the shuffle with many appealing options in the $9,000 range.
Takumi Kanaya ($7,600)
After beginning this season in poor form, Kanaya’s game has come alive recently. The 27-year-old finished T-3 at last week’s Butterfield Bermuda Championship, which is his best PGA TOUR finish to date. Kanaya also finished T-4 at the Baycurrent Classic last month and overall, he has made seven of his last nine cuts with four top-25 finishes during this time.
Kanaya ranks 10th in strokes gained per round when we compare this field’s last 24 rounds and he should be extremely motivated in his RSM Classic debut this week, given he currently ranks 99th in the FedEx Cup Fall standings. As noted above, only the top-100 players in the FedEx Cup Fall standings following the RSM Classic will be earning full-time status for the 2026 PGA TOUR season.
While this will be his first time competing at the Sea Island Resort, Kanaya is too cheap for his upside and his outright odds to win the RSM Classic reflect that. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Kanaya carries +5000 odds to win this event, which are better odds than Keith Mitchell, who costs $600 more than Kanaya for DFS purposes on DraftKings.
Taylor Montgomery ($6,900)
Montgomery finished T-34 at last week’s Butterfield Bermuda Championship, which is the seventh time in his last 10 starts that he has finished T-36 or better. Most notably, Montgomery carded a T-6 finish at the Sanderson Farms Championship last month.
The 30-year-old now makes his way to the RSM Classic, which is an event Montgomery has been great at, making 3-of-3 cuts with two top-15 finishes. The UNLV product carded a 7-under 63 at the Seaside Course during his T-8 finish at the RSM Classic two years ago and he is poised for another strong showing at this fall event this week.
Four of the last five winners of the RSM Classic finished the tournament top-10 in both SGP and par four efficiency, and this season, Montgomery ranks second in SGP and 35th in par four performance on the PGA TOUR.
