Can Amon-Ra St. Brown bounce back in Week 12 vs. the Giants?

Amon-Ra St. Brown had a week to forget against the Eagles. He finished with 42 yards and two receptions despite having 12 targets. The Philadelphia defense limited him significantly, which in turn led to the Eagles winning 16-9.

That’s extremely unlike St. Brown, who has proven to be one of the best and most consistent wide receivers in the NFL. He’s bound to bounce back, and it may come as early as Week 12. The Lions host the Giants, who are on a five-game losing streak and dealing with multiple key injuries.

New York hasn’t won a game since Oct. 9, but three of the five losses since have ended as one-score games. There’s hope that the Giants can keep this game somewhat competitive, so St. Brown can get more targets in the pass game.

More importantly, the Giants are a weak defensive unit. Despite some big-name players in the front seven, the team is allowing the fourth most yards and points overall. The run defense is more to blame, but the pass defense isn’t great by any means. The pass defense ranks 22nd in yards and points allowed.

This is definitely a good spot for St. Brown to bounce back, especially since the Lions are playing at home. Last week was likely a fluke, so expect a big game from St. Brown in Week 12.
