Six games are set to tip off on Tuesday, a solid slate with some must-watch matchups. Steph Curry’s Warriors will hope to earn a road win against the pesky Orlando Magic. Elsewhere, Eastern Conference contenders will clash when the streaking Pistons and Hawks face off.
Even with a modest set of games, there’s plenty of intrigue entering tonight. For bettors, there are several options worth consideration, as well. Here are my three favorite NBA player prop picks on DraftKings Sportsbook for Tuesday’s contests.

Anfernee Simons 12+ points (-111)
Anfernee Simons, at his best, gives the Celtics a microwave scorer off of the bench with 30+ point potential. However, the former Trail Blazers guard can be erratic, at best. That was the case last week, in which he scored a combined six points against the Clippers and Grizzlies. A reduction in playing time, combined with dismal shooting, led to lackluster results. Through 14 games this season, the 26-year-old is averaging 13.4 points on 41/40/90 shooting splits.
Simons’ up-and-down production makes him a difficult player for bettors to trust. Still, following two disappointing outings, the guard is due for a bounce-back. Few teams are friendlier for opposing offenses than the 2-11 Nets. This season, Brooklyn has allowed 121.9 points per game to opponents, sixth-most in the NBA. Simons has reached the 12-point threshold in nine of his 14 outings thus far. That’s despite averaging just 24.4 minutes per game; Boston’s sixth man doesn’t need much time to heat up. Expect a much better showing on Tuesday against one of the association’s worst clubs.
Steph Curry under 4.5 three-pointers made (-137)
It’s common knowledge, but it bears repeating: Steph Curry is the greatest shooter of all time. Therefore, expecting the guard to go under on three-pointers made sounds foolish, at best. The two-time MVP has been terrific once again this season. Over 12 games, he’s posted 27.4 points on 46/38/93 shooting splits. From long distance, the 37-year-old is knocking down a league-leading 4.3 shots per game on 11.2 attempts.
The future Hall of Famer is not someone you want to bet against very often. Still, if the guard is going to have difficulty shooting, it might be on Tuesday. Tonight’s opponent, the Magic, have allowed just 11.3 three-pointers per game, the lowest mark in all of basketball. Granted, Curry did torch Orlando with 56 points when these two teams last met on February 27th. Regardless, the veteran failed to reach five treys during his three outings prior to that performance. Keeping that in mind, Curry might face stiff opposition from beyond the arc this evening.
Austin Reaves 6+ assists (-137)
LeBron James (sciatica) is questionable to play tonight vs. Utah. If the forward does make his season debut, it’ll make a major impact on Los Angeles’ offense. Still, it’s not as if the Lakers have been lost without The King. That’s thanks primarily to the dynamic duo of Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves. The former gets most of the praise, but the latter is pushing for his first-ever All-Star Game selection. The 27-year-old is averaging 28.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 8.2 assists per game.
How much will that production be impacted by LBJ’s return? The veteran’s return will certainly limit the amount of touches for his Lakers teammates. Still, there could be more opportunity for Reaves (and Doncic) to serve as playmakers rather than scorers. That’s especially true going into tonight’s matchup. The Jazz are allowing an NBA-worst 29.8 assists per game to opponents. Reaves has tallied at least seven assists in eight of his 11 appearances so far. Expect another solid all-around stat line for LA’s budding young star.
