UPDATE: Williamson has been ruled out on Monday.
Williamson ($8,700) has missed seven straight games and is listed as questionable for Monday’s matchup vs. the Thunder.
Williamson was also initially questionable for Sunday’s loss to the Warriors, but was eventually ruled out. The forward has only played in five games this season, but Williamson is averaging 22.8 points and 6.8 rebounds per game in those contests.
The Duke product is leading the Pelicans with a huge 32.2% usage rate this season and if Williamson plays, Saddiq Bey ($5,000) will likely move back to the bench and all of New Orleans’ players roles will decrease, given how much of a ball dominant player Williamson is.
The Pelicans are facing the defending champion Thunder on Monday and with or without Williamson, New Orleans team should be in store for another loss. The Pelicans are 2-11 and rank 28th in net rating this season, while the Thunder are 13-1 and rank first in net rating.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, New Orleans is a huge 17.5-point underdog to Oklahoma City.
