Up by one score in the third quarter, Falcons’ QB Michael Penix took an awkward hit on an incomplete pass, and left the game to head to the blue medical tent. He was evaluated there, and has since been slapped with a questionable tag with a knee injury.
Penix was having a fantastic game today, with an 81.8% completion rate and 175 yards—both of which were surely buoyed by a dominant run game. Kirk Cousins is in at quarterback for the time being.
We’ll wait to hear more from the Falcons.
