Drake London left the Atlanta Falcons’ matchup with the Carolina Panthers due to a knee injury and was forced to miss the remainder of the game.
The Falcons’ star wide receiver entered the game listed as questionable with a back injury and illness, but managed to take the field. London pulled in seven receptions for 119 yards before leaving the matchup. This marked London’s third consecutive game with 100+ yards, which is the longest streak of his career.
London was not available in overtime for the Falcons’ thriller with their NFC South rival Carolina Panthers. The Falcons came up short in overtime, losing 30-27 on a game-winning field goal.
There was not a specific play in which it can be seen that London suffered the injury, but he was quietly removed late in the second half and ruled out shortly after. This adds to the laundry list of issues he has been dealing with.
