AFC North games always promise grit. With the division still up for grabs, it’s a critical showdown between the Cleveland Browns and the Baltimore Ravens. Gear up for some hard hits and no love lost between these two longtime rivals.
The Ravens enter as 7.5-point road favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook, while the Browns are listed as +360 underdogs. The game’s total is set at 39.5 points. Here is my preview, pick and prediction for Sunday’s Week 11 matchup between the Ravens and Browns.
Ravens vs. Browns Preview
With Lamar Jackson back in the fold, Baltimore’s outlook has changed drastically. When he came back, they were 2-5 and staring down the barrel of a lost season. They’ve won both games since his return, with the former MVP tossing five scores in those two wins. Another win on Sunday would put them into a tie with the Pittsburgh Steelers for the top spot in the division.
Somehow, the Browns aren’t out of the division just yet. Sitting at 2-7, the right divisional wins put them back in the race. A victory over the Ravens and a loss by the Steelers would put them within two games of the top spot. But they’ll have to rely on a young roster that has yet to produce significant results.
Since Joe Flacco was traded, Cleveland has one win in five tries with rookie Dillon Gabriel under center. Can they pull off a huge victory over their rivals?
Ravens vs. Browns Prediction, Pick
It’s hard to be optimistic about the Browns. But if they have one strength, it’s their run defense. Keeping Jackson and Derrick Henry contained would go a long way toward staying in striking distance. Even if they’re not good value to win outright, the Browns have the personnel to keep this one close.
