What happened to Ja Morant? Live injury updates for Grizzlies vs. Cavaliers on 11/15/25

In the midst of a trying season, Grizzlies point guars Ja Morant was cooking early against the Cavaliers in a big game on Saturday. However, he headed back to the locker room early on in the first quarter due to a calf injury and will not return.

Per Grizzlies PR, Morant will miss the remainder of the contest due to right calf soreness. He did miss their previous game with an ankle injury as well, so the injuries are mounting for the star guard.

With Morant set to miss the rest of the game after leaving in the first half, he will be eligible for the DraftKings Early Exit program.

Prior to leaving, Morant scored seven points and dished out two assists in six minutes of play. Stay tuned for more updates on his injury status.
