Tight end is typically a hard-nosed, gritty position, and this week’s slate looks perfectly primed for some big, grind-it-out wins on the main slate. Eight of the 11 games are divisional matchups, which should lead to close, hard-fought contests between familiar foes. There may not be as much glamour at the position, but there are definitely some nice fantasy football sleeper plays to consider from Week 11.
Since the one-week DFS fantasy football salaries on DraftKings go lower at TE than at WR and RB, going with a bargain at the position or using a second TE in your FLEX can free up more salary cap space for stars in other spots. It’s possible to go cheaper at this position than at any other besides defense.

The picks in this post can be excellent values for DFS contests and can also serve as sneaky plays in your season-long league since they are in a position to exceed expectations. Earlier this week, I highlighted my top-15 starters at tight end, and in this list, we’ll focus on players mostly outside those 15 players who still bring a high fantasy football ceiling in their Week 10 matchups.

Whether you’re looking for value plays in your DFS contests like the NFL $2.5M Fantasy Football Millionaire [$1M to 1st] or looking for a last-minute addition from the waiver wire, here are my top five fantasy football sleeper tight ends for Week 11 of the 2025 season:
Dawson Knox, Buffalo Bills ($3,300)
The Bills will be without Dalton Kincaid (hamstring) for this matchup, which opens the door for Dawson Knox to step in as a viable fantasy football sleeper.
Last week, Knox caught three of four targets for 37 yards against the Dolphins, and earlier this season, he stepped in with Kincaid absent due to a different injury in Week 6. While Knox scored his lone touchdown of 2025 in that game, he only had one catch for 19 yards on two targets.
Another one of his biggest catches came against the Chiefs in Week 9, but again, that was his only catch of the game.
Knox is very high-risk this week since his targets have been so sporadic, but Kincaid’s absence does give him a very nice ceiling with the potential for a big game against the Bucs if the game gets high-scoring and back-and-forth. He’s boom-or-bust, but his ceiling makes him worth considering.
Noah Fant, Cincinnati Bengals ($3,200)
Fant is a little more stable of a play than Knox since his workload has been fairly consistent for the Bengals, especially since Joe Flacco ($5,500) took over at quarterback.
Fant has multiple catches and at least three targets in each of his last four games. He only has an average of 35 receiving yards per week during that stretch, but he does have a pair of touchdowns during that span, including this touchdown grab against the Steelers.
He’ll face the Steelers again this week, looking to again emerge as a fantasy football sleeper. Pittsburgh has been a good matchup for tight ends this year, allowing six tight end touchdowns in nine games along with an average of 68.1 yards per game to the position.
The Bengals need to knock off the Steelers again as they look to keep their season alive, and Fant should be involved once more in an aggressive passing attack in this AFC North battle.
Pat Freiermuth, Pittsburgh Steelers ($3,200)
On the other side of that matchup, Pat Freiermuth is another great fantasy football sleeper option at tight end. The Bengals have been the best matchup for tight ends all year, allowing a massive 12 tight end touchdowns in nine games along with an average of 80 yards per game.
Freiermuth lit them up for five catches, 111 yards, two touchdowns and 31.1 fantasy points in Week 7, and he’ll look to post similar results again at home in the rematch. The Bengals struggle against all tight ends, but especially against Freiermuth:
It isn’t just a matchup play, though, since Freiermuth has at least three catches in each of his three games since then, adding another touchdown against the Colts in Week 9.
He still shares some time with Jonnu Smith ($2,900), but he has been the slightly preferred option lately, and that along with the matchup make him a great fantasy football sleeper option at only $3,200 on Sunday. I see Fant as a little safer, but Freiermuth bringing a little more upside in their head-to-head matchup.
Tyler Higbee, Los Angeles Rams ($2,700)
The Rams’ passing attack has been operating at a high level the past few weeks with veteran Matthew Stafford ($6,600) dealing to both Puka Nacua ($8,700) and Davante Adams ($7,700). Adams is officially questionable for this week’s showdown with the Seahawks, but he’s expected to play through his oblique issue.
Another way to get some exposure to the Rams’ passing game at a much more affordable salary is to target veteran Tyler Higbee, who is still chipping in solid numbers despite flying under the radar.
He has at least three catches in four straight weeks and has totaled 19 catches in his seven games since Week 1. He had his best fantasy week in Week 9 when he found the end zone against the Saints.
Higbee has a great matchup this week against the Seahawks, who have allowed the third-most fantasy points to the position. Higbee may not get as many vertical, down-field looks as the top tight ends, but he is still getting enough PPR action to be worth a look under $3,000. If Adams is limited or out, that could lead to a few more targets for Stafford’s security blanket as well, so keep an eye on Higbee as a fantasy football sleeper in Week 11.
Johnny Mundt, Jacksonville Jaguars ($2,500)
For the second straight week, it’s possible to pay all the way down to the minimum and get a starting tight end. The Jaguars opened the 21-day return window for Brenton Strange (hip), but he isn’t ready to play this week. Hunter Long (hip/knee) is also out, leaving former-Ram Johnny Mundt as the starter for the injury-depleted Jaguars.
Mundt played 48% of snaps while Quintin Morris ($2,500) played the rest of the time, although he didn’t get a single target. Mundt had a pair of targets and converted one into a 21-yard catch. He has at least one catch in four of his last five weeks and a total of five catches for 58 yards this season.
With multiple injuries at wide receiver as well, Mundt could get a few looks on Sunday, and with this salary that is lower than anyone else’s, it’s strong game theory to pay down for Mundt to squeeze in more stars in the rest of your roster spots.
