Los Angeles Lakers at Milwaukee Bucks prediction, pick for Saturday 11/15/25

Interconference playoff hopefuls collide on Saturday night as the Milwaukee Bucks host the Los Angeles Lakers at Fiserv Forum.

Both squads enter on the second leg of a back-to-back — the Lakers (9-4, 4th West) coming  off a win over the New Orleans Pelicans, and the Bucks (8-5, 5th East) taking down the Charlotte Hornets in overtime.

Looking at the injury report, LeBron James (sciatica), Gabe Vincent (ankle), Rui Hachimura (calf), and Marcus Smart (illness) are out for LA. Kevin Porter Jr. (knee) and Taurean Prince (neck) are sidelined for Milwaukee, while Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) is listed as probable.

Tipoff is set for 8:00 p.m. ET. The Bucks enter as slight -122 moneyline favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook, with the Lakers listed at +102. The game’s total is set at 229.5 points.

Lakers vs. Bucks Preview

There’s an argument that both of these teams have overperformed in the early stages of the season. LA ranks 17th in both offense and defense, producing a near bottom-third 19th-ranked net rating. Milwaukee isn’t much better, pairing a top-10 offense with bottom-10 defense for a perfectly average 15th-ranked net.

Still, both the Lakers and Bucks are finding ways to win — equally important as gaudy metrics — powered by sheer, uncontainable star power.

Even with LeBron sidelined, Los Angeles remains a city of stars. Luka Doncic is operating on another level this season, averaging an NBA-leading 33.7 points, along with 8.9 rebounds and 9.2 assists per game. Austin Reaves continues to shine as well, putting up 28.6 points, 8.2 assists, and five boards a night — as a soon-to-be third option.

While Giannis Antetokounmpo doesn’t have an All-Star alongside him, the Greek Freak has resorted to playing like two of them in one. The perennial MVP is right behind Luka at 32.6 points per game, also adding 11.5 rebounds and 7.3 assists on a scoring 63.2% from the field. Last night, he dropped 25 points and 18 assists to log the second most games by a forward with 25+ points and 15+ assists — trailing only LeBron.

Lakers vs. Bucks Best Bet

The stars are going to get theirs, and both supporting casts have shown glimpses of Oscar-worthiness when push comes to shove. Neither the Lakers nor the Bucks are particularly known for their defense, and signs point to a high-scoring affair in Milwaukee on Saturday night.

Best Bet: Over 229.5 Points (-110)
