The Los Angeles Rams will play the most important game of their 2025 season so far this coming weekend when they host the Seattle Seahawks for a pivotal Week 11 battle. Both teams are tied for the best record in the NFC at 7-2, so this game could go a long way towards deciding the division and potentially a first round bye.
In his first season in Los Angeles, Rams receiver Davante Adams has proven a stellar WR2 to Puka Nacua, hauling in 42 of his 78 targets for 568 yards and a league-leading nine receiving touchdowns. Together, the pair has helped veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford to his best season, and, potentially, his first MVP. However, Adams got dinged up in Los Angeles’ Week 10 win over the San Francisco 49ers with an oblique injury and has been listed as questionable for Sunday’s game.
Analysis
Adams didn’t practice on Wednesday and practiced in only a limited capacity on Thursday, which normally wouldn’t bode well for his game-time status, but the wideout reportedly responded well to his activity throughout the week and is expected to play.
He’s been pretty durable throughout his career, appearing in 173 of a possible 189 games, and he’s never missed more than four games in any season. The 32-year-old has a history of playing through injuries and producing nonetheless, suffering a knee sprain in the first quarter of the Green Bay Packers’ Week 16 win in 2018 but putting up 11 catches for 71 yards and the game-winning touchdown in that contest.
His presence will provide Stafford with a huge boon for the pivotal divisional clash. This season, Adams has garnered just one fewer target than Nacua, and no other wideout has been targeted more than 17 times. Having two trustworthy wideouts instead of one will be key against a Seahawks defense that has allowed the ninth-fewest fantasy points to opposing wide receivers but has a big drop-off in coverage ability between its top outside corner, Devon Witherspoon, and its second-best outside corner, Tariq Woolen.
