UPDATE: Nesmith will not return due to a knee injury.
With around nine minutes left in the third quarter of Thursday’s game against the Phoenix Suns, Aaron Nesmith suffered an injury when his foot slid on the floor. He is now in the locker room.
Prior to exiting, Nemsith contributed 10 points, three rebounds, an assist and a steal in 20 minutes of action.
If Nesmith is out for an extended period of time, Jarace Walker would likely be the biggest beneficiary.
It’s been a tough season for the Pacers as Tyrese Haliburton, Obi Toppin, Quenton Jackson and Bennedict Mathurin are all out due to injury.
Indiana next plays on Saturday, hosting the Toronto Raptors, then travels to Detroit on Monday.
