Don’t look now, but the New York Jets have won two games in a row. Unfortunately for them, they play the Patriots on Thursday Night Football, who have won seven in a row. Rookie tight end Mason Taylor is set to be a huge part of the Jets’ passing attack on Thursday in the absence of Garrett Wilson.
The Patriots are 12.5-point favorites for this one, with the Jets +575 underdogs on the moneyline. The points total is set at O/U 43.5 on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Below is my favorite Taylor prop bet on DraftKings Sportsbook for Thursday’s game.

The way to attack this Patriots defense is simple. They are the best team in the NFL against the run, but rank 21st in the league against the pass. The only problem for the Jets is that they are dead last in the NFL in team passing yards per game. Yikes.
Regardless of that, they have to try to find a way to move the ball through the air on Thursday. The numbers aren’t great because of how awful New York’s passing attack has been this season, but Taylor still ranks second on the team in targets, receptions and receiving yards.
In the absence of Wilson and a relatively unknown group of wideouts, Taylor should be the focal point of what the Jets do through the air. Taylor has gone over this total in four of nine games this season, but those four occasions have all been in his last six starts after a slow start to the season.
The Jets’ passing game is hard to rely on, but 31 yards from the primary target should be doable, even with Justin Fields under center.
