Week 11 of the NFL season kicks off on Thursday night with an AFC East showdown. Amidst a tough 2-7 campaign, the New York Jets now enter a difficult test against the rival New England Patriots. With Garrett Wilson sidelined, the Jets will surely lean on halfback Breece Hall as the primary playmaker, setting the star up nicely for a big day in the box score.

Here are the best Breece Hall prop bets to consider on DraftKings Sportsbook for Raiders vs. Broncos on Thursday Night Football in Week 10.

Jets fans are used to misery throughout the franchise’s history, and unfortunately, the results haven’t been much different this year. While New York now has two wins on the campaign, the team remains far below .500 and embraced the rebuild by trading away defensive stars Quinnen Williams and Sauce Gardner. To add insult to injury, stud wideout Garrett Wilson left last week’s game with a knee issue and is expected to miss three-to-four weeks, per ESPN. That leaves the Jets without their top weapon in the receiving game ahead of a difficult matchup, but it does open a door for Breece Hall to step up with an even larger role.

The Patriots boast the NFL’s top run defense, holding opponents to a league-low 79.2 rushing yards per game and 3.8 YPC with the third-best EPA/rush. They’ve also allowed just three rushing touchdowns this season, tied for the fewest of any team. While the Jets typically love to pound the rock under first-year head coach Aaron Glenn, getting much going on the ground may prove difficult against one of the league’s stingiest front sevens.

However, there’s still room for Hall to produce in this contest as the primary playmaker. With Wilson sidelined, New York’s pass-catching weapons are headlined by tight end Mason Taylor and wideouts AD Mitchell, Arian Smith and John Metchie III. While Taylor is talented, the receiver room is quite depleted — as a premier pass-catching back, Hall could see significant target share in this game. It’s best to avoid his rushing props and instead target his receiving lines thanks to the increased opportunity to make plays out of the backfield.

Hall’s receiving props on DraftKings Sportsbook are set at 2.5 receptions and 15.5 receiving yards. He’s recorded over 2.5 catches in just three of his nine games this season, but came close in four additional contests with two receptions in each. With Wilson sidelined and his 33.1% target share available for the taking, Hall sees a great chance to go over this line as the Jets likely play from behind. Plus, the Patriots allow a league-high 6.10 receptions per game to halfbacks, so there’s a chance Justin Fields looks to those layup attempts often. New England also allows the seventh-most receiving yards to running backs at 38.1 per game, so if Hall sees additional work through the air, the matchup is a positive one to create additional yardage. He’s not only eclipsed 15.5 receiving yards in five of his nine appearances, but also cleared 30 yards in each of those. With that in mind, an alt line of 25+ receiving yards brings even better value at +180 odds.

Best Bet: Breece Hall over 2.5 receptions (+106)

Slight Lean: Breece Hall 25+ receiving yards (+180)
