It’s time to unleash the rookie!
Williams has three career catches entering Thursday night’s duel with the Jets, yet I love the relative dart throw at +450, especially with Kayshon Boutte sidelined once again due to a hamstring strain.
Williams only caught one ball in New England’s road win over the Bucs, but it was a massive reception. Known for his elite RAC abilities, Williams beat his man on a crosser and was off the races, taking it 72 yards to the house. Finally, after seeing his snap share increase in recent weeks, the rookie delivered.
It’s safe to assume Maye and the Patriots will want to build off that positive momentum and reward Williams with more snaps and targets. This game also has blowout potential, which could result in extended looks for the Washington State product against a defense decimated by trades.
