Giannis Antetokounmpo Injury Update: 11/12/25 vs. the Hornets

After initially being listed as questionable, Giannis Antetokounmpo has been ruled out for tonight’s game vs. the Hornets due to a knee ailment. It will be just the second contest that Antetokounmpo has missed this season.

To say that the Bucks are now shorthanded would be quite the understatement. Not only is Milwaukee’s roster lacking a secondary All-Star for the first time in the half-decade, but the Greek Freak comes into Wednesday’s action leading the NBA in points per game (33.4). Unsurprisingly, Antetokounmpo also leads the Bucks in usage rate at a massive 36.7% figure.

Milwaukee did win the last time Antetokounmpo was in street clothes, taking down the Warriors 120-110 back on October 30. Kyle Kuzma started that game, but it was Ryan Rollins playing the role of No. 1 option, finishing the victory with 32 points on 13-for-21 shooting. With Antetokounmpo off the floor in 2025-26, it’s Rollins who leads the Bucks in usage rate (24.9%), with Cole Anthony (23.3%) and Kuzma (21.9%) trailing not too far behind.

It’s doubtful that this will be a long-term issue for Antetokounmpo, and his next chance to play will come Friday when Charlotte completes this home-and-home by traveling to Milwaukee.
