We’re back tonight with a six game slate featuring lots of NBA action. Let’s dive right in!
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!
This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my six favorite plays for tonight’s action.
Michael Porter Jr. More than 22.5 Points
The Nets will be relying on Porter Jr. for any semblance of offense this season, especially with Cam Thomas now sidelined for weeks due to a hamstring injury. Porter is attempting a career-high 18.1 shots per game and averaging a career-high 23.3 PPG. He’s the primary option on this team and should remain in that role all season long.
It’s both a dire and exciting situation for the Nets, who are out in no man’s land and are drawing dead to compete for a playoff spot this season. What’s exciting is that we’ll be able to see whether Porter Jr. can handle the workload of being a primary option.

Tyrese Maxey More Than 28.5 Points
Speaking of primary offensive options, Maxey is absolutely cooking at the moment. He’s shouldering a heavy load with a league-high 41.1 MPG, but delivering on his responsibility by averaging 33.2 PPG through 10 games. Maxey is on the MVP radar with explosive scoring performances every night and should continue doing so tonight against the Celtics, even with Joel Embiid in the fray.
We’ll have to see whether Maxey’s momentum can continue through such heavy minutes, but for now, we’re not expecting Maxey’s play to slow down any time soon.

VJ Edgecombe Less Than 13.5 Points
After an explosive start against Boston in his first NBA game, Edgecombe has slowed down with his scoring but is still finding ways to contribute in other areas. The 76ers are now 6-4 and are still waiting on Paul George. Edgecombe is averaging 16.3 PPG, 5.7 RPG, and 4.4 APG with 1.5 SPG as a rookie. He’s only shooting 42.7% from the floor, but he’s a rookie who will have growing pains. He’s playing a ton of minutes, still, but I’m expecting his scoring output to be held in check tonight. He’s eclipsed 13.5 points only once in his last five games.
