UPDATE: Jaxson Dart has officially been ruled out for the remainder of the Week 10 matchup with the Bears due to a concussion. The Giants will take on the Green Bay Packers next week.
Jaxson Dart has left today’s Giants at Bears game and is being evaluated for a concussion. He has been replaced by Russell Wilson in the game.
The injury occurred on his sixth rushing attempt of the game, which ended in a fumble. Dart was slow to get up following the play and spent time in the medical tent, but he has since been taken to the locker room for further evaluation.
Prior to the injury, Dart had completed 19 of his 29 pass attempts while adding six carries for 66 yards and two touchdowns with his legs. The 25th overall pick became the first quarterback in NFL history to record a rushing touchdown in five straight games in the matchup. Dart has provided a notable spark to this New York Giants offense since being injected into the starting lineup with two victories in his six starts leading into today.
