Seattle Seahawks vs. Arizona Cardinals prediction, pick for NFL Week 10 on Sunday 11/09/25

Lumen will hiss with rain and racket as Seattle chases pace and Arizona drags belief into a storm. Divisional residue spices this window because these teams already felt each other’s structure, and that memory sharpens eyes and cadence. The roofless chill turns every exchange into a test of hands and nerve. Seattle arrives with balanced teeth and a home bowl that presses lungs. Arizona counters with stubborn defense, scrappy urgency, and a profile that refuses to fold inside one score. Below is my prediction for NFL Week 10’s game between the Seattle Seahawks and the Arizona Cardinals.

Here’s how I’ll play it. I’ll be pumping out these predictions for individual games all season, with plenty of coverage here on DraftKings Network. Follow my handle @dansby_edits for more betting plays.

Seahawks vs. Cardinals prediction, preview

Seattle sits first in total DVOA with elite balance: offense fourth at +21.6%, defense second at −16.3%, special teams first at +9.6%. Arizona lands nineteenth overall at −2.7% with defense tenth at −6.1% and offense twenty-third at −6.9%. EPA confirms the shape: Seattle sits at +0.06 per play with a 45.5% success rate, fueled by a potent +0.26 EPA/pass that stretches seams. The run game lags at −0.15 EPA/rush, a predictable tradeoff when explosives live through the air. Arizona’s defense answers with league-average EPA/play allowed near 0.00, strong against the run at −0.06 and softer versus the pass at +0.03. The Cardinals’ offense rides +0.02 EPA/play with a 41.7% success rate, more grind than glide. Seattle’s defense closes space at −0.04 EPA/play allowed, mean against the run at −0.16 and slightly positive versus the pass at +0.03. That collage sketches a clean thesis: Seattle throws into a coverage shell that cracks more than it collapses, while Arizona must manufacture stays against a front that throttles lanes.

Pressure and situational edges lift the home side. Seattle generates heat with four and squeezes third downs; the defense permits touchdowns on 45.8% of red-zone trips, a top-tier clip that translates yards into threes. Arizona’s scattershot success rate sets traps on long down-and-distance, especially in weather that punishes late feet. The Cardinals’ best counter lives in condensed answers and shallow crossers that shield the rush and chase yards after contact. That plan downsizes variance but also caps explosiveness, which matters against a defense that rarely yields clean explosives on schedule.

The counterargument still breathes. Arizona’s defense plays above reputation; tenth by DVOA backs a unit that rallies and tackles. The Cardinals have kept margins thin all season, and their ATS record reflects that resistance. Rain and breeze can carve downfield windows and nudge this into a possession economy. Seattle’s run game grades negative by EPA, and a slick track can turn friendly passing numbers into chancy footing. Short week dynamics tug Arizona’s tempo, but scrappy dogs relish grimy scripts that compress possessions and invite late leverage.

Cardinals vs. Seahawks pick, best bet

Seattle’s balance across all three phases means fewer ways to lose. First overall by DVOA with a top-five unit in each bucket removes dependency on one trick. Arizona’s offense sits in the bottom tier by both DVOA and success rate, which strains the math when the opponent’s run defense ranks among the league’s strongest. The Seahawks’ red-zone stiffening at 45.8% throttles finish rate, while a special-teams edge widens hidden yards in a rain game where field position decides temperament.

Market and context nod toward compression. The number floats near a touchdown, and the total rests at 45.5 in a bowl staring at rain and a breeze in the low-teens. Seattle averages 27.6 points per game, yet the defense has trimmed concessions across recent weeks, and weather often taxes precision routes and deep posts. Arizona has scored 17 or fewer in five of eight, a profile that leans toward field goals when drives survive into plus territory. That dovetails with Seattle’s red-zone clamp and tilts the total downward even when the favorite controls script.

Expect the game to unfurl like a slow bruise. Seattle will script through the air early, target intermediate layers, and use quick rhythm to blunt heat. When the lead breathes, their calls will lean clock and duo, with selective shots when safeties cheat downhill. Arizona will answer with patience, leaning on crossers and choice routes, then sprinkling tempo to catch nickel late to the huddle. Third-and-manageable keeps them attached, but third-and-seven invites the rush and tight windows that turn punts into the default. The middle eight decides posture: if Seattle steals two possessions there, Arizona’s route to an upset evaporates and the cover fights to stay alive via late-game urgency.

Turnovers and special teams sit on the hinge. Seattle’s top-ranked special teams bank hidden points and extra first downs via return phase and coverage pins. Arizona’s bottom-half profile risks a muff or a miss when the ball is slick. If turnovers split even, Seattle’s down-to-down edge should hold the rope. If Arizona steals a short field, the Seahawks’ red-zone rate still converts a chunk of those snatches into threes, which protects an Under while preserving a favorite lean.

I bet the total rather than chase a widening spread. The blueprint lines up: Seattle’s pass strength meets rain and a defense that tackles; Arizona’s offense meets a run wall and a red-zone vise. DVOA balance, EPA splits, and weather conspire toward a capped possession game with stalled finishes.

Final: Seattle 23, Arizona 16.

Best bet: Seahawks vs Cardinals u45.5 total points (-105)

For a prop lean, George Kittle anytime touchdown at +150 fits the math and the memory. He averages 66 yards per game with six touchdowns in 13 against Los Angeles. San Francisco’s pass game sits at +0.10 EPA/dropback with Brock Purdy and sustains a 47.1% success rate. Los Angeles allows touchdowns on 47.1% of red-zone trips and only two rushing TDs all season, which funnels finishes through the air. Shanahan will script condensed play-action and choice routes inside the 10; I expect 2–3 red-zone looks, which makes the price worth the swing.

Best prop lean: Trey McBride 70+ yards (+115)
