Bettors can consider playing 52+ yards for Ashlock, but pushing the line to 60+ makes sense for better value with plus odds as he’s achieved that mark five times in nine games this season. Lucky Sutton 110+ rushing yards (-118)
The heart and soul of this San Diego State offense, everything seemingly flows through halfback Lucky Sutton. The bruising back comes in at 6-foot-1 and 212 pounds, so he’s built for the workhorse role here. The Aztecs’ staff knows that — the junior has handled 154 carries (114 more than the next-closest runner) for 820 yards and eight touchdowns. While Hawaii’s run defense isn’t bad by any means at 54th in the nation, Sutton is one of the most talented backs this unit will have faced. San Diego State will look to pound the rock and control the clock tonight, and with solid chances of playing from ahead all game, expect plenty of work for the star halfback. He’s totaled 100+ rushing yards in four of eight games and has gone over 110 rushing yards in three of those, including each of his last two. Watch for that streak to keep rolling as Sutton rumbles his way to another big outing.
