While it isn’t as deep as running back or wide receiver or as flashy as quarterback, tight end is a critical position to investigate each week. While there are a few reliable studs to consider each week, there are also some great value options if you are looking for a fantasy football sleeper at the position. In Week 10, the main slate on DraftKings includes 10 games, with plenty of solid fantasy football sleeper plays on the board at tight end.
Since the one-week DFS fantasy football salaries on DraftKings go lower at TE than at WR and RB, going cheap at the position or using a second TE in your FLEX can free up more salary cap space for stars in other spots. It’s possible to go cheaper at this position than at any other besides defense.
Each Saturday here at DKNetwork, I list out my top fantasy football sleeper tight ends from the main slate of the week to help you find the biggest production for the lowest salary.
The picks in this post can be excellent values for DFS contests and can also serve as sneaky plays in your season-long league since they are in a position to exceed expectations. Earlier this week, I highlighted my top-15 starters at tight end, and in this list, we’ll focus on players mostly outside those 15 players who still bring a high fantasy football ceiling in their Week 10 matchups.

Whether you’re looking for value plays in your DFS contests like the NFL $2.75M Fantasy Football Millionaire [$1M to 1st] or looking for a last-minute addition from the waiver wire, here are my top five fantasy football sleeper tight ends for Week 10 of the 2025 season:
Mason Taylor, New York Jets ($3,200)
Taylor and the Jets are back from their bye week after getting their first win of the season by beating the Bengals in Week 8. Taylor caught the game-winning score (even if it was from a running back), and finished with 14.4 fantasy points on five catches for 34 yards to go with his improbable touchdown.
Taylor has been the team’s starting tight end all season and has at least three catches in five of his last six games. He finished with over 11 fantasy points in three of his last five games and is getting enough attention from Justin Fields ($5,200) to be a solid fantasy football sleeper at the position.
The Jets host the Browns, who are also coming off a bye week, and rank in the middle of the league against tight ends this season.
Even with Garrett Wilson ($6,100) expected to return, there should be enough work for Taylor to return value and Wilson will draw more of the defense’s attention to the outside, leaving space for Taylor over the middle.
David Njoku, Cleveland Browns ($3,200)
On the other side of that matchup in the Big Apple, David Njoku is a fantasy football sleeper that makes sense, since he has been heavily involved in the Browns’ passing game along with his fellow tight end Harold Fannin Jr. ($4,200).
Fannin has had a strong start to his rookie year but is also dealing with a hamstring injury that has him listed as questionable this week. If Fannin is out or even limited at all by the injury, the extra work would push Njoku over the top as a great value play at only $3,200.
Njoku has 27 catches for 260 yards and two touchdowns on the season and his two touchdowns came in his last three games, and he has 13 catches on 20 targets during that span.
Njoku should be a solid value play with or without Fannin, but if Fannin is out, he would be an outstanding play against the Jets, who have allowed the eighth-most fantasy points per game to the position this season, giving up six tight-end touchdowns in eight games and an average of 42.6 yards per game to the position.
AJ Barner, Seattle Seahawks ($3,100)
The Seahawks have found ways to get their big tight end involved this season, even using him as a rusher last week against the Commanders.
Barner has been very involved as a receiver lately as well, catching at least three passes in four of his last five games and posting double-digit fantasy points in each of those four contests. He has scored five total touchdowns on the year, and the Seahawks are finding ways to get him in good positions.
Sam Darnold ($5,800) relies heavily on the tight end position in general and has done a good job getting Barner the ball to make big plays down the field or in the end zone.
He and the Seahawks are in a divisional matchup at home against the Cardinals this week, and Barner had three catches on three targets for 32 yards in their first meeting of the year. Arizona has allowed the 10th-most fantasy points to the position this season, leaving Barner as a boom-or-bust flier play again this week. He does continue to work through a calf injury that has him questionable, but he has been working through the injury to this point and there were no reports of a setback.
Greg Dulcich, Miami Dolphins ($2,600)
The Dolphins’ passing game has been a mess this season, but they rely on dink and dunk passes from Tua Tagovailoa ($4,800) that can sometimes make tight end a valuable position.
It definitely was while Darren Waller (pec) was healthy before he landed on IR. Julian Hill ($2,700; ankle) missed the last two weeks along with Waller and is mostly a blocker when he’s on the field. The other part of the replacement tandem for Waller was Tanner Conner, who the team waived Thursday but may be interested in bringing back to the practice squad.
Last week, Dulcich was signed from the practice squad and stepped into a productive role. He didn’t catch any passes in Week 8 in his debut, but he hauled in five catches on five targets for 49 yards and 9.9 DraftKings points in Week 9.
He’ll likely work in tandem with Hill this week with Hill getting the blocking responsibilities while Dulcich does the receiving work. He was a third-round pick of the Broncos in 2022 but never really took off in Denver. He has intriguing upside as a bargain flier against the Bills after last week’s strong showing.
Johnny Mundt, Jacksonville Jaguars ($2,500)
If you want to go even cheaper and spend all the way down to the minimum, Johnny Mundt is worth a look for the injury-depleted Jaguars.
The Jags lost Brenton Strange (quad) to IR in Week 6 and then lost Hunter Long (hip/knee) to an injury last week. He briefly exited last week’s win over the Raiders but returned and played 66% of snaps. He’ll miss this week, though, leaving Mundt and Quintin Morris ($2,500) to share the work. Morris hasn’t caught a pass or even been targeted this season, while Mundt has just four catches for 37 yards.
Mundt has been around the league since 2018, playing for the Rams and Vikings before joining the Jaguars. He’s scored four touchdowns in the last four seasons and had just under 20 catches in each of the last three seasons with the Vikings.
He has never been heavily featured in the passing game, but this week the Jaguars will be looking for pass-catching options with Brian Thomas Jr. (ankle) and Travis Hunter (knee) out and Jakobi Meyers ($4,800) still just picking up the offense after arriving midweek.
Mundt doesn’t have to do much to be a good play at the minimum salary, and he could end up being a key if he delivers good value while unlocking extra salary cap space to pay up for stars in other spots.
