Missouri Tigers vs. Texas A&M Aggies prediction, pick for CFB Week 11 on Saturday 11/08/25

Columbia gathers under November light, gold towels rippling, as an unbeaten brand collides with a proud program nursing scars. Texas A&M arrives 8–0 off a bye, chasing résumé heft and committee optics after Baton Rouge fireworks. Missouri stands 6–2, homecoming charged, trying to turn two one-score cuts into resolve instead of residue. Old Big 12 ghosts drift through Faurot, but this feels like a referendum on mettle and memory. Alumni swarm the quad, the band saws the air, and a freshman under center meets a season’s hinge. One sideline hunts playoff ink; the other hunts a signature that resets its season. November asks for composure when the third quarter tightens and the crowd leans forward. Legacy writes itself when a team welcomes pressure and answers without flinch. Below is my prediction for CFB Week 11’s football game between the Missouri Tigers and the Texas A&M Aggies.

Here’s how I’ll play it. I’ll be pumping out these predictions for individual games all season, with plenty of coverage here on DraftKings Network. Follow my handle @dansby_edits for more betting plays.

Missouri vs. Texas A&M prediction, preview

Texas A&M’s identity breathes balance and cruelty up front. The Aggies average 38.0 points and 460 yards per game, then clamp to 24.0 and 321.5 allowed. Quarterback Marcel Reed has stacked 17 passing touchdowns and six rushing scores while taking only three sacks all year. That protection becomes a cheat code; reads extend, angles widen, and the red zone becomes choreography. The ground game carries 19 rushing touchdowns and just ripped 224 at LSU. On the road, the offense has cleared 40 in all three tries and averages 35 in SEC play. That isn’t a flash; that’s a drumbeat.

Missouri’s counterpunch is real and rooted in defense. The Tigers sit top-five nationally at 245 yards allowed per game and permit 17. Their red-zone response ranks 30th by scoring rate; field goals replace fireworks when they tighten. They’re 11th against the run, which usually strangles scripts before explosives develop. That front must win clean because Reed punishes half-beats and has shown poise against pressure.

The offensive plan in Columbia narrows around the ground. Running back Ahmad Hardy has 937 rushing yards with 11 touchdowns and runs with downhill conviction. Missouri has already cleared 1,800 rushing yards, which frames intent for a freshman behind center. Freshman quarterback Matt Zollers went 14-for-23 for 138 and a touchdown in relief at Vanderbilt. He now meets a rush with 25 sacks, third in the SEC, and a back seven that hunts tips. A&M’s defense also plays on schedule: 135 rushing yards per game allowed and 11 interceptions baked into a +6 turnover margin.

The leverage lives on early downs and in the strike zone. If Missouri’s run game holds its four-quarter shape, third downs will stay reasonable. If not, Zollers inherits long yardage into an Aggie front that can tee off. On the other side, A&M’s line has protected with rare cleanliness, which lets Reed hold the mesh and probe leverage without panic. Missouri’s red-zone stiffness can bend sequences, but A&M’s multiple backs and keeper inventory stretch those seams.

Let’s give the counter its due. Missouri took Alabama to the brink and defends with top-tier efficiency at 245 yards per game. Home carries value here; Faurot Field can rattle cadence and juice the pass rush. A&M’s spotless sack ledger meets a line that hasn’t seen this crowd in 2025. The schedule note also matters: none of A&M’s FBS opponents currently own winning records, which muddies strength-of-team reads. A freshman quarterback can be a spark, not just a liability, when paired with a roaring run game.

Now the refutation, rooted in repeatability. A&M’s road scoring clears the market’s anxiety, and their run/pass symmetry survives noisy starts. Reed’s sack rate, that absurd count of three, neuters one of Missouri’s best levers. The Aggies don’t need deep shots to separate; they stack efficient possessions and finish drives with legs. Missouri’s defense is terrific, but its offense leans into Hardy volume and must avoid chase scripts. Against 321.5 yards allowed and a turnover margin sitting +6, the catch-up lane narrows.

Texas A&M vs. Missouri pick, best bet

A&M’s 38.0 and 460 pair with 24.0 and 321.5 in a profile that earns road respect. Missouri’s 17 allowed and red-zone poise will keep this in phase for stretches. The hinge is quarterback experience against disguised second-level movement and simulated pressure. Reed owns answers; Zollers is learning them live. My sheet prices the Aggies at a two-score median when turnovers normalize, with Missouri’s cover path tied to explosive run rate and short fields.

Picture the flow. A&M opens with split-zone and counter, then tags glance when safeties bite. Running backs Le’Veon Moss and Amari Daniels press edges until linebackers widen their steps. Reed manipulates with tempo, then steals red-zone angles with keepers and backside boots. Missouri responds with duo and inside zone behind Hardy, then dials play-action crossers to keep the weak-side safety honest. If A&M forces third-and-seven, the rush package arrives and windows shrink. If Missouri thrives on second-and-five, the entire stadium exhales differently.

Discipline and ball security will magnify every pocket. A&M’s +6 turnover margin tells you they finish drives without freelancing. Missouri hasn’t been a takeaway machine; its defense wins by precision, not chaos. That plays into A&M’s calm. The bye also matters in the trenches; legs feel springier after an open week, especially for a line that already dictates.

Homecoming pride will crackle, and Missouri’s front will trade at the line with real steel. The difference comes in quarterback composure and drive finishing as the third quarter drains. A&M’s protection grants time, and their backs salt edges until Missouri’s defense finally yields green. Lay the points and ride the A&M surge. It’s gonna get wild when they get this road win.

Final score: Texas A&M 30, Missouri 20.

Best bet: Texas A&M -7 (-105) at Missouri
