The Denver Nuggets face the Indiana Pacers in the later portion of today’s eight-game NBA slate. But they could be doing so shorthanded with Jamal Murray headlining the team’s injury report. He is listed as questionable with a calf injury ahead of tonight’s 9:00 p.m. EST tip.
Murray has been active for all eight games across Denver’s 6-2 start. The 2023 NBA Champion is averaging 22.8 points, 5.6 assists, and 5.3 rebounds. Murray has been listed on the injury report with calf tightness for each of the past four games but has not missed any action yet.
Tonight will mark the second half of a back-to-back for the Nuggets, so keep an eye on the injury report to see if they are more cautious. This is the first back-to-back Denver has had so far this season. In addition, Aaron Gordon joins Murray on the injury report with a questionable tag due to injury management.
Anything can happen in any given night in the NBA, but the Nuggets will certainly be aware they are matching up with a 1-7 Pacers squad. Injuries have already derailed this season for Indiana with there being more talent on their injury report than on the floor on a nightly basis.
